does honor really make your party size go up?
Well, I just got rewarded Dhirim after doing next to nothing to get it. I want to keep it by now I have to defend against an endless amount of sieges to keep it safe.... shit sucks.
does honor really make your party size go up?
No, but renown does.
Someone tried to assassinate me in a city's tavern as the king of my own nation, I picked up his sword.
Is there anything more I can do besides know I have some pissed off nobles?
No, but renown does.
Random screenshot from Fire and Sword multiplayer - shooting people with a musket is kinda difficult.
i spam grenades and clear the room like a pro with two handed weps

since when drunks are assassins?
Is fire and sword worth getting if what I have heard about customizable troops, banking, town management and that is true?

I captured reyavdin in the first m&b and asked no rewards, but it was rewarded too me even though I already had like 5 castles under my control. I had too station like 500 nord huscalrs there just too keep away the small armies from trying to seige it.
shit sucks.
The Vaegirs made me an offer of vassalage, but I've never really done anything for them, ever. I've maybe won some tournaments in their towns, and killed a few bandits in their territory if that means anything. What are the factors for getting an offer of vassalage?
Also sparring seems to level up troops quite quickly, at least when they're peasants.
since when drunks are assassins?
It wasn't a drunk.
His name was, "Hired assassin" and although the conversation choices were similar to a drunk's, when I said, "Do you know who I am?" He basically said, "Yes, I do."
He then attacked me and, upon killing him, I received a completed quest announcement concerning the weapon he was wielding (which I received) and the tavern owner specifically said, "I knew something wasn't right about that guy, he barely ordered any drinks and kept an eye on the door at all times."
Is fire and sword worth getting if what I have heard about customizable troops, banking, town management and that is true?
It's not any better than Warband and the original M&B. It's a pretty interesting game though.

It's something like Renown - Relation Ship with the King.
So enough renown and no relation ship with any kings and kings will randomly start giving you offers (or you can offer to be a vassal).
Fyi Vaegirs sucks don't be with them.

I think you should wait for it to go on sale, it will and it will probably be something outrageous like 70% off and thats when you get it.
Finally gonna boot up Fire and Sword and play some today. Any mods I should consider. I played warband vanilla, but with this, I wanna know if there are some mods that help balance out some stuff.
did fire and sword add anything feature wise like a mod would? Or just content?
I hate this game I am in now, no factions are at war, they all have non aggression pacts or trade agreements.

Raid a couple caravans, forcefully steal supplies from villages, attack nobles.

Offer vassalage too a king, go fuck up all the villages in 1 or 2 territories and watch the sparks fly.
First game I got into, everyone was at war with everyone. it was fucking awesome.
Indeed, caravans are a good way to start war. I find it funny how I go broke unless I'm at war.
Says a lot about america. :911:
I always start wars by raiding villages.
You guy actually have to start wars? My faction is always at war in my game (Swadia)
I never join factions in warband so yeah.
Naturally at war.

they want your vassalage despite you not even knowing them because they are the worst faction and need all the help they can get
You guy actually have to start wars? My faction is always at war in my game (Swadia)
that's because swadia is the strongest and most central faction initially
Can you recruit people from villages in Fire and sword? i just have a bunch of mercenaries.
Can you recruit people from villages in Fire and sword? i just have a bunch of mercenaries.
only once you join that faction, it's much cheaper and is an incentive to be a part of a faction
