I've noticed that rhodok sharpshooter/sarranid mamluke is like the best combination ever. The mamlukes charge and your sharpshooters snipe everything from across the map.

Man, if I didn`t have those crossbowmen on my side, I`d get raped by sarranids heavy cavalry. I couldn`t even stab them.

Started playing Warband a few days ago and i really love it. Currently my army is a mix of random stuff and i'm not quite sure who's performing well in battle and who's not. (I know the kills show up in chat but i'm usually too busy fighting to check all those messages) Is there any way to check out individual battle statistics after a battle? Something like: [code][B]BATTLE STATISTICS[/B] Enemies killed: 47 Enemies wounded: 5 Enemies routed: 2 [B]Your troops:[/B] Sarranid Mamlukes: 21/3 Sarranid Master Archers: 9/0 Sarranid Footmen: 10/2 Vaegir Knights: 5/0 [/code] Anyone knows if there's a mod or ingame function that shows that?

I wish the normal battle statistics screen showed how many you personally killed / knocked out in that battle. I'd feel a lot better about losing to 764 Vaegirs with my 70 troops if I found I had killed over 200 by myself.

Now you have to take him for prisoner. I personally release every enemy lord I capture, so now they're all bros with me and soon I can get them all to align with my own kingdom when I start it.

Fuck your mamlukes I have 100 swadian Knights under my personal command, And I own half of Swadia together with Lady Suno and we are kicking the nords in their crotch for their constant random wars with us. They offered peace but I said fuck that, Nords are going off the map

I just realized how even [i]more[/i] retarded the morale system is. If you've started your own kingdom, you lose morale from using troops from the places you've captured until the faction you're warring with is eradicated. That's just fucking stupid. Where else am I supposed to get troops than my own territory, if I'm at war with everyone?

Irya is awesome I have 68 relations to him and he's the ex-marshal also, is there any good tactic to making a new country? I'm in the nords but I've just realised they own like half of the major towns so if I became my own faction I would just be squished by the nords

[editline]15th May 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=CrabC;29842452]I sort of want to pit 100 sarranid mamlukes against 100 swadian knights to see who would win.[/QUOTE] I actually did that when I was forming my own kingdom; was going to start my kingdom by taking out the last owned settlement (town) that the Sarranids owned (my campaign when I was a lord of Swadia did that) and thus they sent a 1,500 man army after me and my 120 Swadian Knights, I could swear they had at least 100 Mamlukes in that. It was a massacre, I only lost around 2 knights (wounded since my surgery was 7) and they experienced full casualties (I managed to make most Sarranid lords bros by setting them free, because they're huge on honor I guess.)

Sorry if this was asked already, but I took over a castle and I don't belong to any faction and my nation is now named "Muscovite Tsardom (rebels). Is there any way to change it? If you can't tell already, I'm playing With Fire and Sword.

So I was doing a mercenary contract for the Vaegirs in Warband, and I somehow managed to capture the king of the Nords. What should I do with him? The Nords pretty much only have Tihr now.

Kings can be purchased off of you just like normal Counts/Jarls/Emirs/whatevers. Usually scores you some money in the ~10k range, just takes a while before you get an offer.

Wait until the Nords offer you money, release him for ransom or release him.
