Then you probably want to use bows.
Reload times are bad especially when they miss most of the time, I mean, muskets and other guns OBVIOUSLY won't going to work if they included both the inaccuracy and the reload time.
IMO, the usage of musket in medieval games is to fight against massed enemies that form a thick formation, so every bullet you shot has a considerable chance to hit someone, even when it's inaccurate as hell. Learn a bit of war history and you might get some sort of effective tactics to encounter any situation (E.g: Cavalry exploits, cannons against faraway formations, ...)
Its an issue with enemy spawns. Solutions: 1)Turn down number of corpses 2)Turn down quality of grass 3)Turn down battlesize 4)Get new drivers Theres also a guide somewhere that tells you how to fix it permanently through the use of the registry.
This did not fix the problem. :frown: Any idea where I might find that guide?
I'm downloading the Floris Mod Pack. I'm kidna excited as I like a nice vanilla experience.

Under Fixing tab.
I'll try it anyways, but my problem isn't the game crashing. What's happening is that when I play mods my game freezes and alternates between 2 frames. It doesn't start doing this until after I've played for about half an hour, and the only way I can get it to unfreeze is to alt tab out, and back in. It steadily gets worse as I play until once I alt tab out the game stops responding and I have to end the process via the task manager.

Pardon me if these sentences sound dumb. Also, what mod in particularly is this happening in?
Also, what mod in particularly is this happening in?
Blood and Steel
Downloaded the native expansion, and its actually good. It adds tons of new items and quests (which are really well made) Just dueled against the Queen of Swadia, won and got a sword which does 62 per swing
Are there any good old west mods for Warband?
Are there any good old west mods for Warband?
1866 MP if its alive.
All I do is crash on Blood and Steel :saddowns:
Update your game, download latest patch from Tale Worlds.
How the fuck do people even make bigass epic armies in this.
Charisma, renown and leadership
Charisma, renown and leadership
If all of those are extremely high, will people actually come to you to join you instead of you having to recruit them? I'm not exactly too good at finding guys to recruit.
Nope, they won't. If you're not satisfied with the amount of troops you get from recruiting (it's rather unfair when compared to how fast lords replenish their forces), either download TweakMB and edit the recruiting amounts, or get Diplomacy mod, since in that when you're a lord or a king you can ask your constable to hire recruiters and then the recruits will ride all over the map and collect the requested amount (50 max in one go) and bring them to the castle you want. You can even order them to train your recruits at the castle while you're away.
The training is really shitty though, you can do hella more by just levelling your training skill a little bit and taking them with you. I guess it's okay for getting raw recruits to the next stage.
Nope training is awesome, I get 4 huscarls every day
The training is really shitty though, you can do hella more by just levelling your training skill a little bit and taking them with you. And I think if you replace your constable with someone like Lezalit, they'll train faster.
Does that require diplomacy mod or is having a castle with training already in the game?
Does that require diplomacy mod or is having a castle with training already in the game?
Requires diplomacy.
It needs Diplomacy, but there's really no reason to not use it if you're running vanilla. It works with vanilla saves, and just improves kingdom management and, well, diplomacy.
Yeah all it does is add cool new features. There are a couple of things it changes (horses slowing down when injured) but those can be disabled in the options.
The native diplomacy sucks without the diplomacy mod, there's not much interaction between factions so it seems like they just randomly declare war on each other
I'm using Blood and Steel :saddowns: is there a way to combine the 2 mods?
In theory, yes. In practice? None of us are competent enough to do it.
