I've had battles where I wiped out 300+ dudes and lost >10.

How do I get more Army guys? I have 62 guys.

I only had around 86 people in total and I was fighting agaisnt 3 armies totaling around 516 people. I won and my army was only down to 74 people after it was over. I do not have the surgery skill.

Is there any good troops in fire and sword to get if you don't own a castle, my king is so cheap he refuses to give me one so I can't get good troops from there. I did, I got Nizar who dissappeared for some reason, Lezalit, Rolf of the kingdom of Rolf from the ancient house of Rolf, and Minarad or whatever who currently has 10 skill in Engineering and Trade.

I could hold 160 in my company and now I can only hold 84. My Charisma is 20, leadership is 6. :wtc:

Last two times I was on a duel server I came out even for wins vs. losses. That's why I do it. Great practice. I fight armorless with my polearm axe as well because it's even better training. Fights you lose without armor in a duel you expect to lose in an actual battle as well, but you win more often than you expect to. It's like training on King Kai's planet. I think if I start playing singleplayer again I'm gonna have to switch to manual block because I'm so used to it now. [editline]28th May 2011[/editline] Great fun, too. One guy on the last duel server I was on kicked my ass every time (until the end when I beat him 2 or 3 times in a row before I left) but I loved fighting him anyway both because he was a good fighter and the fights were intense, and before every fight I up block as a salute and he always did it back so I liked him.

I hope all you naked players get shot down by marksmen. :buddy:

I'm getting runtime errors after a few minutes into the game. I get them in DX9 and 7, lowest and highest graphics, lowest and highest resolution, often modded, never in native. The mod is up to date for this version of warband. Any halp?

Was sat on the fence about getting Warband for a while, but I found a copy in my local store so it seemed like it was calling to me. Anyways, I was looting a village and a big bunch of fucks came and captured me. Karma's a bitch.

Oh my sweet baby jesus, no one online knows how to fucking assault a castle. The people at the front just sit at the front of the ladder/siege ladder what have you and try to pick at the defenders like it was a duel or something. That is a great way to lose. People in front, take up shields and rush the fuck in. Don't pay any attention to fighting. Just get in there and pull as many defenders away from the front as possible. People behind them need to rush as fast as possible to establish a front that isn't a disgustingly tiny chokepoint that defenders can hold until the 41st Millennium. If one attacker can pull one defender from the front, he's worth it. If he pulls two, he more than worth it. Best thing to do is rush straight for where their archers are firing from because one of a few things happens: A) people follow you and get pulled off the front, B) no one follows you, archers have to turn around to defend themselves and aren't shooting your teammates, C) no one follows you, archers don't notice you, you butcher their whole line of archers. It doesn't take a general to understand siege strategy.

But in general, I agree that most people don't have the slightest idea how to be part of a siege.
