Mount&Blade (Warband too) thread V. Knights of Calradia - Games

Fire and sword is a good game. The multiplayer is very fun.. and it depends on the person. My friend got fire and sword because he isn't really into medieval fantasy, but he likes the early Europe / muskets stuff.

Is it just me or Mound and Blade: Warband crashes like insane in Single Player? I just crashed twice within 10 minutes.

Well, wonderful. I sieged a town and got it down to the very last defender. Guess where that defender is? In the fucking wall. So my troops are just all huddled around one wall, screaming and yelling war taunts and shit. Here's a picture of the fucker. On the far right. Ive seena few screenshots buzzing around of characters with higher poly and/or normals maps on both the armor and faces. Are there any good texturing mods that make people look a bit better?

Why does troop editor always make me crash in the beginning of battles. Every fight is a crash. (WB) btw

[I]Maybe [/I]this is a stupid question, but is there a way to rescue prisoners from towns without getting assraped by the entire town guard and having to fight them singlehandedly? Is there something far more logical, like being able to take some of your soldiers in with you, or what?

Some mods allow you to bring a bodyguard with you into towns and stuff, but no otherwise you gotta do it yourself.

I quit working for the Rhodoks because King Graveth won't do shit. Time to work for the Nords, which have been nearly decimated in my save. Ooh, 1000th post.

In my native game - The Nords have completely destroyed the Vaegers and have the most cities, I've been working for Swadia this whole time and we have lost Dhirm and a lot of castles mainly because even though I have won a host of victories by myself, the other lords and marshals won't attack anyone.

M&B Warband should be renamed to M&B feast hard, because that's all the lords do
