Nope sorry dude, don't play Blood and Steel. I'm sure someone on here has it though, it's a fairly popular mod

I went up against an army of about 120 infantry, with my 90 or so cavalry, and I just barreled through them on my courser slashing heads. I killed like 30-40 people by the end of it, and there was only a single prisoner to take. [U]Everybody[/U] died.

I had some time so I decided to just grind on some bandits for a bit. So later on I went to the feast my target was at. And both the guy I had to give the message to AND the guy who gave me the mission to send a message were there. I still did the quest.

Christ, on my Male character Ive got 100 days time Im level 23, and Ive already got a small army and I own one town and one village, havnt even [I]tried[/I] to get a marraige yet. Ive put 138 (game) days into the female character, only level 18 and its way fucking harder to get things done, I only own one crummy village that keeps getting raided by those fucking mongorians. Does charisma and persuasion factor into courtship sucess, does your renown? How exactly does the whole system work? Because I need some fast cash here

Warband provides a realistic simulation of what happens to a woman outside of the kitchen (in the middle ages) HELL

I'm playing as a women and I don't get that much shit, it's more fun actually because it's harder outside of battle.

You want a history based game with firearms and somewhat realistic stats or a fun medieval type of game with lolhammers? I like fire and sword better because of the real countries that are in the game, love to play as the russians and brutally crush the Swedes. I also think it's more balanced, you can win a siege with 40 huscarls against a 400 men town in warband, you can't do it in fire and sword. The game also includes small things that makes the gaming experience as a whole better. I got warband and fire sword about the same time, Ipurchase mount and blade complete pack, already had normal mount and blade but not big of a loss and played warband until fire and sword was released but the people who got warband before are naturally going to tell you that warband is better.

It beats me that a good 3/4 of the time, enemy counts will escape after you defeat them, yet there appears to be no way for you to escape from them...

They're worse than Swadian Knights. They steamroll both on foot and mounted. [editline]16th July 2011[/editline] The normal escape rate is like 70% I modded it to 30%

Playing native polished, it's got freelancer which lets you be in a lord's army. And gives you a new weapon when you rank up, but not armor or shield, and it doesn't pay often. So i've been running around with an axe in a leather jerkin in gigantic battles. feels silly.

Like you fight against your own soldiers to get up.

So I played Fire & Sword today. The guns feel out of place somewhat, they are basically insta-kills.

I just downloaded AD 1276 or some number like that, it's a single player mod set in middle aged Europe. And well, the mod does not crash at all. I can enter towns, do whatever I want. But if I try vanilla SP, it crashes as soon as I enter a town. :v:
