Never knew the Macedonians had to face zombies. Still, we held the line.
What mod is that?

Full Invasion
Meanwhile, a senior officer demonstrates the feared Prussian Victory Dance to his underling.

"NO! you're not kicking your legs up high enough, and that is why you'll never be a senior officer!"
Then you don't have a proper uniform for your companions, go fix it
fixed, they now all have masterwork Great Long Bardiches... happy now?
Two things:
1) Playing a pikeman online in fire and sword is ABSURDLY fun.
2) No one seems to know that pressing z braces your pike against the ground and is the equivalent of couching a lance. I got 3 kills earlier from just bracing my pike in a choke and having cavalry charge me to their own deaths.
as much as I hate m&b's multiplayer(because of 360 degree strikes- shit like that, twitch combat and a horrible community full of idiots,) fire and sword's is actually quite fun

I havent even seen anyone who knows how to couch a lance, period.
I dont really enjoy the guns I stuck with bows and arrows.
But I still love it =D.
I hated warband though
I hate how armor doesn't even act like armor, its more like a expensive look. When you get hit by a downwards slash while wearing a kettle helmet, it would normally stop it. In M&B it does nothing.

As long as all their armor and weapons are of the same quality :colbert:

All helmets do is
A)Prevent your head from being sliced open by swords
B)Lower the damage of the weapon thrown at it.

Nah, any projectile will immedietly kill you if it hits the head, it's just that simetimes the hitbox can be a bit funny.
Fire and Sword is not retail?
It is.
Is my my mod version of Brytenwalda possessed by an unholy Pagan god? Because I'm now leading men as an Irish Transvestite Hobbit.

In real large scale medieval combat, most people died when they tripped and got trampled.
Armor doesn't do shit against a good ol' fashioned trampling-to-death, and likewise, M&B doesn't support trampling. If helmets and armor deflected blows, your siege battles would be nothing but "clink clink clink" as people bounce their swords off of their opponents armor and visa versa.
To be honest a helmet may stop a sword but it would not stop a good swing from a two-handed axe or a mace and you'd just die in one hit.
I was thinking about getting Mount & Blade: Warband, i've seen some gameplay and i really like the fact that you actually get to fight with all your troops in third person, but wasn't there also the fact that you could get armor, weapons for your commander in the campaign?

Yes ofcourse.

Not necessarily. Considering that most troops don't have excellent armour and many troops do have blunt weapons, plenty of people would still go down. There was a mod for Mount and Blade that made weapons and armour much more realistic, and it vastly improved the game, not making it so that no one ever died. Its not like swords never penetrate armour either. Even if they don't, the blow may still cause damage if its hard enough.

Well, then you should also make a much more complex combat system because there are parts on the body that are not covered by armor such as the armpits, a strik there would definitely wound you badly. But you can't really aim for where you are going to hit the enemy.

Think I'm kidding? I'm also sailing in a sea of piss.

Yeah, you can customise the equipment for yourself and individual companions you can recruit.
I hate how I cant activate my gamersgate copy of fire and sword on steam.
I have played a bit of fire and sword and it was all right.

I got a new shield
Edit:
Great, now I can't enter towns anymore. Everytime I do, the game crashes. Last time it started happening, I fixed the problem by enabling cheats on the start up launcher, but now that doesn't even work. Any solutions? I don't want to lose everything I've made damn it.
Edit:
New save games don't work either, but when I change the language to something else the game is fucking fine. I can't play in any other language though, I'm not good enough at them.
-snip, no automerge-
Fill in the blanks

You had Nords. Did you think it would surprise us that you won?
By that picture, it looks like some Khergit and Swadian lords left their respective factions and joined the Vaegirs.
Those traitors!

The dude I married in the game switched sides 3 times, spent a week with the swadians a couple of weeks with nords a month with sarranids and now with the khans.
I'm playing as a woman.
Could I please get any help with crashing in taverns/cities at all? I can't play the game anymore at all D:
