It's less of a RTS and more of a "The sims" style
Also to install texture mods in your DynamicResources folder make a folder. name it what ever you want it to be named. and put the .tga files in it
You don't need to extract anything from the game

You need to plot in either South America or Russia to find a guard, do the AOI, then interrogate the guy that you capture.

You need a training room with punchbgs. Then you can recruit them like workers through the "Recruit Minions" screen, but it takes time since they have to train up.

Send a bunch of military minions (Guards, Mercenaries , etc.) into different countries and set them to "Stealing" make sure to replenish them if they die if you want to keep a steady flow of cash.

The GOG version of the game is the best version other than the CD version. Rebellion fucked around with the Steam version.

It's supposedly not patched. Nobody knows because they took away the only things that indicated that it was patched away. Rebellion removed the version number from the options screen and renamed a menu button. Those were the only two indicators that the game was patched.
I didn't think I would like this game, but I got the demo and it's fucking awesome.

But to move bodybags, for some reason, you have to select move and then right click where you want to put it. It's wierd...and I'll edit if I search through the thread and someone already has answered it.

2 sets of 8 soldiers or 6 mercs and maybe a useless henchman in the territories on the world map, at the most only bother 3 different factions at a time, that give you the most (9 financial rating or whatever, you'll see 2 9's top left of the screen) and that should be around 10k to 14k per minute.
That'll pile up fast. I had 300k an hour or two ago now I have 2 million. The enemy agents aren't too bad, only occassionally do I get veterans or soldiers. Most of the time you'll just get poor burglars in packs of like 8 which is crazy, but they're not much of a problem if you're getting [I]that[/I] much money per minute.

It's not patched. The main menu says "Load Save" instead of "Load and Save". But you can just download the patch. That's what I did.

Oh and I love this game so far, I never played it before so and I'm still on the bloody first island :( At one point my entire base was on fire and I had no money to buy new generators and it took me 1 and a half hours to rebuild everything :o)

Thanks to my OCD I always must have all my henchmen with 3 lives, so I go a bit postal on super agents when they arrive. The Debug Mode I mentioned can get him back for you too.

I personally think there isn't a problem.
I'm still waiting for a save game that proves me wrong. In the 4 or 5 years that I've owned the game I have not had the problem described.
