I might just destroy my hotel, it sucks I poured so much money in it though. But honestly it's becoming a problem Really? Dancing with the tourists? This is why we can't have nice things and no one takes me seriously.

This is why we can't have nice things and no one takes me seriously.
Another prime example why hotels are complete trash. [editline]07:52PM[/editline] Destroy that sucker.
I bought all 3 wings + the lobby. Then I realized it really doesn't do anything, and that I only have the lounge and lobby to build.
Man before I just used Jubei to kill all the agents but I didn't realize that it kept the heat up and I just tried making an army of 20 valets and just put weaken tags on all of them. It's pretty damn hillarious when you have 10 agents outside your door just scratching their head and returning to HQ AND it lowers the heat.
So hotels aren't worth it? I was going to save up my money and build one.
No, hotels are never worth it. Tourists are stupid and really don't attract much heat. If your security system is good enough, henchmen will kill them almost right away when they walk within a LoS of a camera with a kill tag on. Basically you just need to watch out for pink dots on your mini map 24/7 I've beaten EG twice, first time I built a hotel on the first island and realized it was worthless. I don't like social minions but they do lower heat of other agents in the world and are required for certain missions :| EDIT: And for faster kills, keep the base on orange alert. Minions will always be armed. If you click the orange alert button once, the alarm will sound forever. If you click it again the alarm will turn off but your minions will stay on orange alert (or amber or whatever, it's been while)

I started a new game. Haven't beaten the game once yet.:frown:
Weakening agents makes them forget what they've seen and stuff right? Like if they take pictures of my holding cells they'll forget about them?
Weakening agents makes them forget what they've seen and stuff right? Like if they take pictures of my holding cells they'll forget about them?
Yes.
Yes, also on hard exceptional agents are scarier then super agents. [editline]01:06AM[/editline] I know a shitload about this game, I've had it since it's release day and played the demo before it was out. Beat it more times then I care to rember. It's terrible (how many times I've beat it). :(
Weakening agents makes them forget what they've seen and stuff right? Like if they take pictures of my holding cells they'll forget about them?
Yeah, but make sure you drain their smarts. Use spindoctors or mixers. Or brainwashers, if you have them. I like to catch a few agents that are from a heat carrying region and wash their brains. Heat gone. Also I like how brainwashers actually TAKE the brain out from someone's head and WASH it.
I thought turning on amber alert just makes everyone leave their post and patrol the base.
It makes them get a gun then they go back to getting whatever they were doing. It just adds patrolling as one of the jobs they have to do but it only applies to workers and guards.

Also is it possible for advanced minions to do AOI's that tell you need a certain amount of workers even if it specifies workers and not advanced minions? I don't want to move all my workers to advanced minions in fear that I would have to have a certain amount of normal workers to do a mission.

Lol. Playing Space Station 13. Our AI was named H.A.M.M.E.R. and one of the players asked the AI about P.A.T.R.I.O.T. status.

If an AOI specifies a type of minion you NEED that minion. For example, if it says you need 5 guards you have to use 5 guards, you can't use 5 mercenary's.
If it says you need 5 guards you have to use 5 guards, you can't use 5 mercenary's.
That sucks =|
If you leave it on Yellow Alert, won't they lose loyalty faster?
That sucks =|
Yeah it sucks. This means I can't transition my entire minions into advanced minions.
If you leave it on Yellow Alert, won't they lose loyalty faster?
A bit, but you can offset that whit good loot placement. [editline]01:56AM[/editline]
Yeah it sucks. This means I can't transition my entire minions into advanced minions.
Why would you want to?
Because merc's have better stats and better weapons. Martial arts masters have beter melee obviously than workers, and are used like meatshields to the mercs. With this system of not being able to use better minions as substitutes you simply cannot eventually have a super army of mercs and martial arts.

It's the way your treating it that's not quite right.
Huh?
Huh?
The system isn't supposed to work the way you want it too. You're not supposed to have a super army.
The system isn't supposed to work the way you want it too. You're not supposed to have a super army.
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Damn.
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Damn.
You can still have one if you edit the max population to be like 400. Any higher and the game starts to bug out.
i hate and love this game
i hate and love this game
Does not compute.
i hate and love this game
What do you hate about it?
