how do i get more valets, and how do i get other types of minions? and also when i try to plot nothing happens, i can plot the same area for hours and nothing happens, same when plotting an area with a flagshit in it, still don't give me the details
Well, you need a minion of the type you want to train, a training room with the proper equipment, and you also need to set your want for valets up. If you don't have any minions of the type you need, you have to steal them.
Guys, the game has ingame video tutorials on this stuff!

A tips from me is to download the fan made mod. Can't be assed to look for it, but it makes a whole lot of buildings avaiable, you can use Hotel buildings for all sorts of rooms, sentrys indoor, 250 minion cap and so on.

this game needs a save feature and not that autosave bs..
this game needs a save feature and not that autosave bs..
You mean the save feature on the menu? I agree it's quite handy.
this game needs a save feature and not that autosave bs..
Load save needs to be renamed back to Load / Save.

I love this game, but it takes the fucking piss. :frown: I was doing fairly well on the first level, I'd done loads of the objectives. First off I get a secret agent on my island, which I can't kill, :frown: she blows up loads of stuff, kills loads of my men, then after about half an hour fucks off. Then I get attacked by some infiltrators, no big deal I can kill them with ease. Expect my fucking "Genius avatar" has moved YET AGAIN, for no fucking reason, he dies, I fail and lose about 2 hours of progress because the fucking thing moves without me saying so. :argh:

Just capture her for a while and eventually she'll go away. You can only get rid of her once you go to the second island.
Mariana Mamba? Just capture her for a while and eventually she'll go away. It would be nice to not have so many people snooping around, or should I just let them snoop?
Damn this game gets hard.
Let them in, then kill them and off to the freezer. You don't want people checking out the bodybags just outside your base. Also, there's not much way. As long as your men go in and out of your base they'll get an opportunity.
Should I use traps? they tend to get blown up if I use them though. :(

It takes so long that she leaves straight after.
If anyone needs help getting this in widescreen look here http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/Essential_Games_List
There's a really simple solution to Mariana. The mixing bowl.
I'll try torturing her on it and letting her go free then, I kept trying to recapture her as she was killing my men loads. :( Is there any way to keep my avatar from walking round?
If you use interrogation devices that drain smarts, like the blender (The blender is great on super agents as it occupies them for a long time) they will be lead outside, and will walk around scratching their head for a long time, possibly for so long that they will just leave again once they get to their senses. Also, your avatar shouldn't be moving at all unless you are interrogating a super agent, since they will head for the interrogation device to laugh at them.

I tend to just stick him in the control room and leave him there.
I bought this game at the steam offer, I installed it and I downloaded the two patches, Official 1.01 Patch and Unofficial Patch. Then I downloaded The Bonus CD, Rock-Remover, Red Ivan Fix, AOI pack, Redone Doors, and Increase Research Speed. I installed all of them (First the 1.01 patch then the Unofficial and the Bonus Cd) and then the mods in dynamic resources, and when I launch the game it asks for the CD. Any idea how to solve this or what is causing this? I already tried without the bonus CD Also is there any natzee skin pack? :v: would be fun to play Evil Genius as Hitler, but I found nothing on the official forums

This means you can put him in your barracks and your man's bars will refill.
The avatar is a motivator, Just like the artifacts you gather. This means you can put him in your barracks and your man's bars will refill.
But what would you advise is the best thing to do with him? And where do I stick the Civilian recruitment pack?
But what would you advise is the best thing to do with him? And where do I stick the Civilian recruitment pack?
stick him in a corridor where a lot of people pass. Not to close to the front door though
Anyone?
Read the OP
As stated before, I usually just keep him in the control room because that's quite a high-traffic area in my base. Also, to answer your earlier question, I don't use traps because I'm afraid my own men, I just keep a henchman nearby. If they pass my initial door I just get a henchman (and some of the guards if there's lots of hostiles). Also, quick tip, make sure your security control things are always manned. At some point I was looking around my base after placing some blueprints when I see a ninja (not the friendly kind). I promptly send everyone to kill him and wonder how he got past all the security cameras and such. The security desk wasn't manned.
Mine isn't always manned even though the the clock is set all the way to the right. And I built a second door so the forces of good could steal a fake machine thing I stole before, I now regret it greatly, if I remove the corridor it's attatched to will that help? Or will they just start spawning in my bases from trap doors and such?

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The only thing bad about this game, in my opinion, is that it's sooooo sloooooow. Sure, there's a console command to speed up the gameplay, but then it's too fast. There's no middle ground! :crying:
I always end up with no money at all on the first island, how do I be good at this game?
No-CD crack.
Cheers! Now off to rule the world :jewish:
