How do I get the game into 1920x1080 resolution?
How do I get the game into 1920x1080 resolution?
Way to bump 4 months, and i'm sure theres a config with all the resolution settings.
I remember I played a demo several years ago and really liked it. For some reason I remember having some prison cells or something like that. (well that was before some wannabe Captain America rushed my base and made me rage) Never got a full version though.
If there are some sheikhs around FP willing to carry an evil and genius gift to me, I'd of course welcome them with a huge parade. :>
OP, the demo link is broken. They took the file down or something I guess. Here's a new one.

Played the demo for a bit. It's really fun, though I was a bit irritated, as soon as I got out of the tutorial I was attacked every few seconds. I could barely get anything done before I had to defend the base again, and I couldn't set my door security higher or the workers couldn't get in/out.
Awesome game though. Wish I could afford it.
I'm reinstalling this now, fucking Mariana Mamba! :argh:

Really? They made you stop playing? Wow, they are a piece of piss, just make sure you have some good mind fuck traps and set loads of valets on them.

Why complain about a thread bump when this thread is a really good one based on the game he is asking about, it saves space and makes me laugh that you came into the thread just to say that.
This game needs a sequel!

It's been posted multiple times. If you're going to bother bumping a thread at least fucking read it.

HINT: Check the OP
Oh lord. The enemy agents have great fucking priorities.
"It's a hotel lobby counter! SHOOT IT UNTIL IT EXPLODES"

At least they're shooting the lobby counter, which gives you time to get your guards before they reach your actual base.
Also there's a great base design i use which is i place all the low heat rooms in the front like the barracks, mess hall and staff room with level 1 doors and all the high heat rooms in the back behind some traps and level 2 doors and i have my Inner sanctum behind 4 doors like this
===2=2=3=4+
= being corridor, the + being the sanctum and the #s being the door levels.
No they just blow up the counter and then leave. It's weird...
I love spamming sentry guns.
Place them at intervals all over the island, the enemy agents can't even parachute in.
I don't have sentry guns...
[editline]06:15PM[/editline]
you know, one thing I don't get (and don't like) is why ALL guards don't automatically walk around with their guns on them. I understand construction workers not doing it, they do everything else, but a guard is meant to, well, guard the base! I want my soldiers walking around with guns in their arms ready to use them when necessary!
Plus, what better way to keep loyalty than to have loyal guards walking around with guns ready to shoot deserters on sight?
Where are the screen shots saved to?

Click the yellow alert button and then click it again so you don't have that annoying sound
Should i get this game?
Should i get this game?
Hell to the yes.
do mods work with the steam version?
do mods work with the steam version?
I believe so yes
Do you have a mirror of the bonus CD content. Stupid fileplanet makes you sub before you can get it.

I already tried that. They put their guns away when they walk by the armory
I already tried that. They put their guns away when they walk by the armory
Put it on amber/orange / second level alert. What the other guy meant by "clicking it again" was clicking the orange one twice, once to turn it on (you hear the siren, they all get their guns) and once again to turn the siren off (but they still get their guns). It should work
[editline]09:41PM[/editline]
Don't put it on red or all your guys shoot anyone on sight
Oh, ok. I'll try that.
I got tired of agents coming into my base so I made a huge mess of loyalty sapping traps outside the entrance. Now agents can't get near the base entrance without being drained of almost all their loyalty.
I made the mistake of choosing Red Ivan as a henchman.
I didn't realize "useless" meant "Secretly an agent tasked with blowing up your base with his bazooka" I mean what the fuck who fires a bazooka inside.
in a narrow corridor.
at one person.
surrounded by 20 of your own men.
Until I can figure out how to get rid of him, I made a 2x2 freezer, put him in it, and blew up the corridor that led to it.

Woah sorry for double post. FP broke mah automerge
Time to finally start playing this soon. I had tried the tutorial and thats about it lol..

A solution to him has also been posted countless times.
I'll say it again anyway since it's obvious that nobody can read the thread. Replace his bazooka with dual M60's. Problem solved. The mod that does this is in the blasted OP.

Although he can be fixed (given duel M60's as stated above) Putting him in the game was a really stupid move by the devs, do they not even test their games?
One thing I hated about this game was that I could never find out how to make my guards attack a specific person. You can't even select them.
One thing I hated about this game was that I could never find out how to make my guards attack a specific person. You can't even select them.
You just click on the enemy and select the enemy and then what you want to do with them (eg kill, knock out, confuse). You could select your henchmen, but the other minions acted on their own accord, unless given orders (which I liked, maybe because it gave me a settlers sort of vibe).
