Got some news on Evil Genius 2. Back in October i asked Jason Kingsley about the chance of an Evil Genius 2 and he said this:

as long as it's not a ridiculous amount, i am 100% sure they'd reach their goal.

Just hope that they put in a freeplay / sandbox mode, have more islands and bugfix it like hell for EG2.
EG was absolutely amazing, but it was insanely buggy, very short and kind of frustrating with its flaws. For example, traps were pretty damn useless, you were better just using social minions, and then loading up with marksmen and martial artists for the final push on island two.

What i'd really like to see is some minion, room, and Evil Genius customization options and upgrades. Buying stuff like Body Armour for Guards and upgrading their weapons would be awesome. Turrets and vehicles would also be pretty good.
I'd quite like to see some sort of secondary bases, with a base Self destruct that would then have your minions and Evil Genius abandoning the main island to head to the secondary base for a while until they can rebuild.
I'd be happy with just a remake of Evil Genius with a few minor changes though.
This is far into the realm of fantasy, but I always wanted multi z-level bases, too.
There's something awesome about the thought of having a skyscraper style lair, with the heat generating stuff all downstairs, and the mundane things all in the conventional area. Sure you can do that on the one z-level of EG, but it ends up being barely worth it, just put a psych weakening tag on everyone and it's all solved.
Oh, and I hope that they'd make hotels worth using. They're totally useless, as tourists and agents are attracted to higher security doors in the code, so having 1 star hotel doors means that they'll go for your base entrance anyway. The ability to build more things outside would be nice, too.

But really I hope it will be on PC too, not some iPad gimmick game.

Honestly if they'd release a level editor, or even just create assets for players to make the levels on their own, they could probably cut some of the costs.
I asked him again and it looks like we'll be hearing something later this year.

I'm gonna have to play the game again, every time i see it mentioned i want to play it.
