So you would work a job to pay for a game that people have told you over and over sucks total ass? Well if you're not actually 12 you're incredibly immature to say someone is trolling just because they're trying to help you not waste your money.
Imature? I make $20 an hour, $40 is not that much compared to other games. How are you trying to help me, I found it more offensive towards me than "HELP".
You are obviously a troll. I'm 16 so why don't you shut the fuck up? I have a job and I don't spend my days trolling on facepunch like you. Also you joined 13 days ago and you already have 300 posts? Wow, I was right about you...
300 devided by 13 is 23 posts a day, HOLY JESUS. That's an amazing 23 threads to reply 1 post to or about 12 threads with 2 posts in them. Oh and since you say you have a job, then please from a financial standpoint see this: APB is 50$ up front and 10$ a month. After a year of it, you would have paid 170$. The next year would be 120$ then add the 170$ from before and it comes to 290$ for 2 years. A normal game is 50$ and can last for 3 months for those of us who can replay a bit and if it's a decent enough game. Fallout 3 for example lasted me 6 months and after a year of not playing it a whole lot it lasted me another 3 months. So 2 months maybe total of scattered play, adds up to 11 months. So 1 month short of a year, now this is over the course of about 2-3 years where APB would have cost over 300$ total f3 cost 50$. Now let's be real now and I obviously bought more games over the time I didn't play F3. Well I bought 2 other games, for a total of 100$ (let's just say I bought new games because I in truth didn't and spent close to 50$ for 2 games) So that's a total of 150$ for 3-4 years of play and 3 games, where as APB in those 3 years would add up to exactly 410$ american. If you want to assume you payed for the hours (7$ for 20hrs) and played for 2 hours a day every other day (to be optimistic) you would take 20 days to run out of hours. So with 365 days in a year that is 18.25 times you have to buy more hours, which adds up to 177.75$ for the first year and from there 127.75 each year which is 7.75 $ more than buying each month. Now that's less than say WOW or Fallen Earth(which also is sucking hardcore [I was in the alpha for it too]) with their 15$ fee but you see my point, hopefully. TL;DR it costs a fuck ton in total to play a MMO for 3 years which that same ammount of cash could secure you enough games to play for easily twice as long if you bought the right games (read as: good games). This money could be saved for a car, insurance, savings incase shit goes down, a house, things that will matter more than this. It would be financialy irresponcible to purchase APB at your age because you have ~ 2 years till 18 where you A. cannot leech of your parents insurance and will have to buy your own, you will have college to pay for, a girlfriend to wed, housing to buy, bills to pay and gas money/car to buy. Now you are 16 now, I assume your parents are helping you buy a car, that loan is going to cost a pretty penny, gas money and upkeep will cost you (Not as much as a mechanic if you are smart and can do car stuff) and saving every penny you possibly can to pay off that car will really help, because when you get to 18 and if you havn't paid off that car then you might have a serious problem. But hell what do I know ehh?

I want to try it out for myself. Hitler wanted every one to believe in his opinions and look where that got him.... I just want to try the game out for myself and I don't care if you say its shit I will still try it. I already told a admin to close this damn thread a couple hours ago just because of all this fighting.... Its my life, my money, my opinion. If I become a bum on a street its "MY" fault. so screw off. All i needed to know is on the title.
Imature? I make $20 an hour, $40 is not that much compared to other games. How are you trying to help me, I found it more offensive towards me than "HELP".
Do you work full 8 hour shifts and what business? because at 16 I really doubt you make 20$ a hour unless you got lucky are were hired somewhere good because fast food places and places like gamestop and crap usualy pay betweel 8$(about minimum wage) and 12$ a hour which is all we usualy get around here for jobs in highschool. Oh and yes you will prob. be able to run it. Just turn every graphics setting to lowest and slowly go up from there to find your perfect balance.

And saving your money by not buying a crappy game so that you can at least get something good seems like helpful advice to me.

I dont give a shit if im immature, just close this fucking thread....... I got my answer and I'm happy with my life. Also, if you guys want to judge me by who I am and what I do then go to hell... And yes, I did get lucky with my job because I work with a family business and the rest is none of your business.
:frog: I regret being helpfull because your being an asshole which makes me feel bad for being nice.
:frog: I regret being helpfull because your being an asshole which makes me feel bad for being nice.
Well thanks for helping, I didnt want to know how I could save my money. I just wanted to know one thing... if i could run the game. I got many friends who bought APB and they said it was a good game and thats their opinions. [editline]10:49PM[/editline]
So that's really tellnig him he can run the game... totally.
This ^
If he wants to buy it then it's his problem if it sucks. He was asking if he could run it, and people coming in saying "Why would you want to" is just going to cause trouble. If they were saying "Don't buy it, you can't run it" then it might be different.
and this^
Well if you have enough friends it would be at best decent of a game, I was in the beta for APB too and well, it wasn't very fun with no friends in the beta.
-Snip- Tried to edit... I also got into the key to the city event, worst 8 hours of my life spent playing that game. Still just as bad as the beta was.
I don't know what you guys are talking about. APB was a really fun game with friends.
I don't know what you guys are talking about. APB was a really fun game with friends.
Key words: WITH FRIENDS.
Funny how FP can make a simple Yes/no thread last 2 pages.
Key words: WITH FRIENDS.
APB isn't meant to be a one person MMO. The most fun you will have is grouping with people. IIRC, it tells you to start a group or join a group when you first enter the city.
Key words: WITH FRIENDS.
Wow, GTFO already, it's his fucking money let him play the fucking game. No need to be an asshole about and even giving fucking financial advice while he still lives with his parents. You care too much. Get out.
