I'm getting an alright amount, just helped some guy do O&S too. PC right?
Yep. Maybe I'll have some better luck with co-op.
What's your live name?
What's your live name?
NiddyPig.
I did like how there was no flashy cutscene for [sp]Gwyn[/sp]
I was disappointed about that part because I find those cutscenes in the game worth watching again.
I was disappointed about that part because I find those cutscenes in the game worth watching again.
I always felt they intentionally didn't hype up Gwyn's battle with any cutscenes in order to emphasize how low and weak he had become over the years. He was once the king of Anor Londo and brought forth the Age of Fire, but now he's just an old withering hollow trying to keep the flames alive.
Oh god why won't Artorias just die. [editline]5th March 2013[/editline] I almost kill him but he then beefs up and 1-hit me. [editline]5th March 2013[/editline] Welp did it, such an amazing boss overall.

4 indictments in a row. I'm on a roll tonight. :v: [editline]4th March 2013[/editline] FUUUUUUCK, why I didn't record that!? Just finished an amazing 3v1 duel against some sunbros and they were chugging estus flasks like soda. Felt so fucking GOOD killing them all. Swear the battle lasted like 20 minutes.
9:13 PM - Nidhogg: host kept drinking flasks everytime any of their health was down 9:13 PM - Jormungandrson: Oh. Man, just talisman or whatever it is him. 9:13 PM - Nidhogg: I tried dude, but it's a little hard when there's 2 sunbros trying to gank you while the host hangs back lol 9:13 PM - Jormungandrson: lol 9:14 PM - Nidhogg: but anyways, I fucking got them. 9:14 PM - Nidhogg: I got them ALL. 9:14 PM - Nidhogg: And the host had to suffer the demise he saw before him. 9:14 PM - Nidhogg: Probably the most epic battle I ever witnessed. It started near the bonfire, and the battle kept going for so long it eventually reached the main hall before the boss room 9:14 PM - Jormungandrson: lol 9:14 PM - Nidhogg: we were just wailing on each other 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: but eventually I got his knight down. Then only 2 left, making the battle a little more manageable. 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: Managed to separate the other phantom from the host. Fucking RT'd that bitch down. 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: Then it was the host. 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: I could fucking SMELL the fear in him. 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: He knew he was fucked. His bros were gone. 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: And I 9:15 PM - Jormungandrson: lol 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: fucking 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: stabbed 9:15 PM - Nidhogg: his ASS

Keeping invading some guy who spams dark magic everytime he thinks he's about to die. I dwindle his health down to almost nothing, he runs off, then tries to cast dark bead constantly. :B Some people are just embarassing.
When people start doing that shit I just pulled out my Avelyn and shot them. They're too busy casting and keeping their distance that they have no time to dodge or block the three bolt rape train coming towards them. That or firebombs/poison knives/dung. People really don't expect those sometimes and don't know how to deal with that.
Knives/dung pies do almost no/no damage though. That won't save you from a dark bead to the face.
I've been turning people into dragons then partying with them. Am I a bad person?
I've been turning people into dragons then partying with them. Am I a bad person?
No. We must convert the entire world into dragons. Everyone must know who the superior species are. :v:
I wish they included some of his dialogue. It's neat.
Sounds too british for my tastes, I expected something demonic.
So. It turns out your xbox live account is connected to your windows live account in such a way that if, for example, you fail to renew your credit card and your auto-paid subscription to xbox live fails, it locks down not just that account but your windows live account as well. Even better, the particular way it locks you out forces you to call up a human being BUT windows won't tell you that's what you need to do until you've jumped through 200 hoops on both the xbox and the xbox website to try to figure out why the account isn't working. Both sources, instead of saying something like "hey your xbox live subscription broke", give cryptic error messages (stuff like 0x3842) and suggest you try using the other source. OH-- and then it asks for adult approval. My account knows I'm over 21 but there's still some mystery "parent" account neither me nor my father can remember. Long story short, I haven't been able to play dark souls on the PC for a week now because my xbox live account (on the 360) doesn't work. Which is kinda bullshit.
So I finally managed to kill ornstein and smough with a help of a friend, and started to upgrade my equipment, I think I'm doing good for now :)
Good to hear you found someone else to help you. Now I suggest reading the wiki to help modify your gear.

All you have to do is circle strafe Havel and backstab his slow ass

Havel is hard as fuck at first because the nature of his attacks mean that if you make one mistake you pretty much are dead. That plus a big lifebar makes it difficult as the fight lasts far longer than anything up to that point so far in the game. But he's easy once you learn his attack patterns because his attacks are super easy to avoid when you know what to do for each one. It's a nice fight in that its the first enemy to really teach you to be patient, and do things correctly (in which case, its really easy) versus trying to just deal damage like crazy.
