The odds of at least one dropping a weapon is fairly good, especially if you wait until after you get the Covetous Gold Serpent ring in Sen's and go kill them all with 10 humanity for maximum item find. At 30 strength he isn't actually too far from being able to use the Halberd if he could get the Knight in Darkroot to drop it.
Defeated Kalameet! It was an easier boss fight than Artorias, at least for me. Only Gwyn left now, any tips on what to do before entering NG+?

I just grinded up 20,000 souls to open the door in the Darkroot Garden, I'm lv30 and I get my ass handed to me, what level should I be to fight there?

If you stay there, the people should all roll off the staircases to their doom, and you get their souls
protip: your level usually doesn't matter for if you should be in an area or not rather than how upgraded your weapon and armor are this is why sl1 runs are a feasible thing that people do
Are both Bell Gargoyles supposed to be able to breath fire? How the fuck do you win this one? Both Gargoyles never leave eachother so its impossible to close in to attack.
get ya boy solaire to help lautrec too if it's too tough with solaire even
Are both Bell Gargoyles supposed to be able to breath fire? How the fuck do you win this one? If you can't kill him fast enough, you can summon Solaire who will divert attention away from you. If you don't want to summon/have no humanity, try baiting both the gargoyles into breathing fire together then run round and damage them from behind.
I have the white soapstone I used it no solaire .... also I accidentally hit Laurtec and he is trying to kill me
I have the white soapstone I used it no solaire .... also I accidentally hit Laurtec and he is trying to kill me
You don't use the White Soapstone to summon Solaire. You have to be in human form and you'll find his sign on the ground. The White Soapstone allows you to place a summoning sign to have other players summon you. Also, Lautrec is fairly tough early on, so uh... yeah. That sucks.
I got him down to a tiny amount of health once. Except all the sudden some bells rang and like 3 undead knights came and killed me.
The bells ring when someone else beats the gargoyles. Be careful around NPC's you don't want to attack, because if you're even a relatively high level you have to pay a ton of souls to revert it. You're going to miss out on invading him later and getting his armor.
I haven't killed him yet and after I somehow kill the gargoyles I'll just pay Osmund to make Lautrec friendly again.
blight town scares me [editline]7th March 2013[/editline] my little toaster does not like blight town
don't worry man blight town is always like that I will pay you 100 dollars if you can find someone who has not had fps issues in blight town

That sounds suspiciously like a song from the JSRF soundtrack...
That sounds suspiciously like a song from the JSRF soundtrack...
It's 27 Minute Work, the /V/GA intro song, which remixed a lot of videogame soundtracks. And yes, that includes The Concept of Love.
ah i haven't even played JSRF (somehow), i just recognized the style. my problem is the more i think about making videos the more i realize my music of choice is way different than other tracks so i'd have to edit REALLY well for it to work like i thought of something like this for a big series of catacomb/ToG invasions with my full darkwraith outfit, but it's so different than what people usually do. I feel like it does fit the mood, but it's not really video game-y, so I really don't know. I want to avoid the stereotypical feeling you get when people play like rock tracks and shit. i suppose i could just try it and see what happens, though. the middle of it and choruses are awesome, but the intro's a bit slow, so i'd need to be smart about my edits. maybe i should save that for once i know what i'm doing.... I wish I could get it without lyrics, that'd totally work.
Lengthy dark souls pvp videos are a bit hard to edit properly. I try to stick with short songs if I can, so as to not run out of footage when I'm done. Saves me having to reboot the game again. Anyways, go for it man. You never know what you might come up with.
I don't think this was ever posted here... Pretty long but it's all funny as hell :v:
Brandon/Oroboro is a pretty cool guy, if you dont watch his streams then maybe you should. [sp]I blew him up once in Armored Core For Awnser :3[/sp] Tomb Raider is finished, I'll drop by online and invade some folks as a Scotsman or something.
I beat the game. Final boss died in 4 ripostes. He never killed me!
So I've never tried the actual PvP in this game. What's a good way to start? Does it matter if I have a 1st playtrough build or do I need to start a specialised one?
