Why does gravelording only work on NG+? I'm working on a gravelord character at the moment so it would be good to know. The wiki says you can only receive black phantom invasions if you are on NG+ or above, but nothing about infecting.

I still receive messages saying I've been gravelorded and I've never seen a sign to invade
I invaded someone in the are after the Crest of Artorias door using the blue eye orb, but instead of being a vengeance spirit I invaded as a Dark Spirit, I was red and when I died the effects were the same as the darkwraith as in I had to recover my souls/humanity, this is weird.
Can somebody explain how to make yourself a pair of legs? Like the guy who posted the picture in previous thread.
I've tried replacing head/chest/hands slots with legs items but my character head remains floating. And if I change physique of it to -20, part of the neck is still there. So how?

It doesn't tell you that you've been gravelorded, the message only appears when the gravelord dies.

"soft humanity" is humanity that is automatically added to the counter next to your health after killing random enemies.
but yea, when you use a humanity it is added to that bar, which increases your drop rate, lets you kindle bonfires, and lets you summon/be invaded (in human form)
And 1 soft humanity = +1 in all defenses. And curse resistance.
The skulled shuffle can happen anytime.
