no. the level of the pyromancy flame used to affect the damage you took per second (like the power does) but with no actual increase in damage so it was useless to apply it with a +15 hand you'd just kill yourself quickly so you had to carry around two hands which was annoying but they fixed that

I was invading in Township, but my invading glitched and summoned me as a white phantom in some guys world. I decided to be a helpful Darkwraith and help him beat Manus. On the way, we were invaded by a Giant Dad twice, the first time I tried to honorably duel him and waved hello. This was followed by a backstab, so the host and I just ganged up on him. It was a fun experience not being an asshole for once.

did you use a save editor at all? Usually I give myself the Lordvessel early to help with movement but I inevitably get the Kindling message when I invade people in Anor Londo for the first time.

So weapons into weapons, armor into armor, ect. There's a way to change the category but I don't know how. To change say, a longsword into a pike: Open CE, open DATA.exe in CE, check the hex box, search for 31128, the hex value of the longsword. Add the first address to the address list. Right click on it, press "show as decimal" The decimal value of the pike is 1050000. Change the value to that. (If you have the item you want to change equipped you have to unequip and reequip it) That [I]should[/I] work. If it doesn't, search for the hex value of the item you want to change again, drop the item in-game, do another scan for a changed value, add all the ones that change to FFFFFFF. Pick the item up again, delete the addresses that didn't change back to the hex value. I change it to decimal because it's easier to change its upgrade. The third to last number is its upgrade path (0 is normal, 4 was lightning I think, ect). The last two numbers are its upgrade status. So a pike with a decimal value of 1050015 would be a +15 pike.

I kinda wished the CE was a bit more... what's the word and/or phrase? Idiot proof? Hands on and easy to learn? I dunno, last time I tried to download and use it, but it doesn't really do a good job of telling me what I have to do after I instal it. This is why I prefer guides with pictures or videos, reading has never been a strength of mine :v: If I could learn how to do it, I wouldn't have to deal with the obstacle I have come up to: Abandon my SL20 "Welcome to Dark Souls" Dickwraith to get to the real PvP action, make a new one and gather up all that shit, again, or stick with what I've got now, and get bored of invading the folks of Undead Parish, half of which can't even properly defend themselves, and then I feel bad.
