you know my steam name you faggot invite me
changed it to public also hows the video going
haven't even bothered with it i'll probably just put all the videos together without trying anything fancy
I think the moonlight butterfly area would be a great choice as well for a tourney location. Most people avoid that area in my experience. [editline]11th March 2013[/editline] As well as being relatively close to the beginning of the game.
if you're doing a fight club it's best to have an arena type of thing IMO too many trees there
IMO the invasion thingy should be at a place that's easily accessable at early game and isn't super far from a bonfire Because some people will need to create new characters to do this (those that got far) and then use CE to make their character while others are going to be on NG+ in the SL range for this thing but will not have progressed far enough to get to anor londo or etc I think its easiest if we just do it in the blighttown arena because you can get there right at the start of the game with a master key, its right next to a bonfire, and you dont have to kill quelaag since you just started a new character/build. Also it's not going to be super heavy with PvP at that exact spot so we don't have to worry about people joining in that aren't involved every other minute Unless CE can literally just add lordvessel+all locations then it really doesn't matter where you go as you'll have every location warpable at the start and none of the bosses defeated so invasions can happen lol
that's my point, especially at that level CE can do that but not everyone will be using it, i imagine
It's starting to come together. I'm going to make a Steam group later on so that we can all talk cross-platform while the tournament is going on to point out our red signs and shit like that. Platform: 360, PC SL: 100 Location: Royal Wood (Vote Informative) Anor Londo (Vote Artistic) Somewhere in the undead castle (Rate agree) Or reply with a suggestion for locations. I might also add Battle of Stoicism. Date: I was thinking maybe March 30th, but we should choose a date we can all hang out.
oh shit man, I might actually get a chance to use my(read: stolen) fat minister build i'm in
oh shit man, I might actually get a chance to use my(read: stolen) fat minister build i'm in
chester hat, crescent axe?
honestly i was kind of thinking the fog door to the centipede demon area, but no one wants to walk all the way there. anor londo might be the best bet, at sl100 you won't get as much action.
Except for the hosts getting invaded by tons of SL50 twinks and the invaders invading gankers in Dark Anor Londo... :v: [editline]11th March 2013[/editline] And there'd be a lot more invaders than hosts because you have to kill O&S for the lordvessel (Unless you're a wizard), or go to Dark Anor Londo... but then you'd have to deal with no lock on range and dorkmoons.
chester hat, crescent axe?
Chester hat, crescent axe, leather armor, wolf ring(if you've ever played DeS you'll know they have poise for fucking days), and aural decoy for that chuckle.

I never defeated the moonlight butterfly. My SL90 could host the tournament in Darkroot Garden, I don't think many people invade before the forest area. Just a suggestion.

New to thread, not necessarily the game. I've beaten the Moonlight butterfly at one point, but something fucked up and my save was corrupted. Currently at the Capra Demon in Lower Undeadburg.

I stopped playing for a while after I couldn't get online nearly as often as before (Dilemma passed now) and myself and a friend were going to co-op the entire game.
so I'm going to cosplay the fuck out of the FP tourney I have a sweet Ornstein build from a friend, a grim reaper build I made, and a weird as shit Obsidian Greatsword build. Get your ballsacks ready.

good god that build is terrible
good god that build is terrible
What makes you say that? I think it's good for my playstyle. It's got decent defense, poise, and two of my favorite weapons. Plus I don't midroll that often so it's something new. It's made for fun, not to win. (but yeah it is a bit cobbled together in hopes of creating something different.)
because you can't stop the rock with that build [editline]11th March 2013[/editline] you can't stop the rock with any build mind you [editline]11th March 2013[/editline]
What makes you say that?
if i'm actually going to nitpick this build
you're making me feel bad stop
or we could not
I'm going to be a pair of pants. Can I still come to the tourney?
or we could not
Let me clear a few things up with you; It's my playstyle; you're welcome to criticize it, but you're welcome to say "don't use this sword it's bad" or "don't put this much dex if you're going to use this weapon blah blah". And if you plan on it the you might as well save your breath because I'm just going to be spiteful. Constructive criticism is helpful, being mean is not. If you want a good or effective build out of me, then I can be a dime-a-dozen Ciaran cosplayer, or a Chaoshander Giantdad, or Havel. A spellsword/darkmoonblade katana/falchion build, any of those things that are silly or overpowered. Hell, I could even whip out one of Rosie's builds and be effective with that because they're just good in nature. I want to be good with builds that people don't expect. But I'm going to ask you this; what's a good build in your eyes?
you're making me feel bad stop
Think of it this way: Now you know how to get better. [editline]fucdisthang[/editline] Decided to start a new game. Going to continue with a Dexterity character, using scimitars. Was wondering though, I remember finding a Katana in... what was it called... Blight Town? Anyway, what stat is best for that? Strength, or Dexterity?
you're welcome to criticize it, but you're welcome to say "don't use this sword it's bad" or "don't put this much dex if you're going to use this weapon blah blah". And if you plan on it the you might as well save your breath because I'm just going to be spiteful.
im sorry what
what stat is best for that? Strength, or Dexterity?
can you seriously not take a guess
im sorry what
fucking typoes. "you're welcome to criticize it, but you're NOT welcome to say..." I don't think it's that difficult to understand what I was trying to get across.
