What's a good area to engage in some jolly cooperation at around lvl 41? I only have Seath, Nito and Bed of Chaos remaining so I wanted to have some fun before going hardcore.

I also find it unusual you're mixing very light gear with some heavy gear. I can't tell what build you're trying to go for. If you need help with the boss, I can help as a white phantom. My second character is SL53, so you should be able to summon me, if you want. Oh, and it would also be a good idea to carry some Green Blossoms with you. Having the extra stamina recovery boost is really going to help.

Does the Prepare To Die Edition for PS3 include the Oolacile dlc thingy? Cant find the golem anywhere at the lake

The golem always shows up, it isn't part of the DLC. Just restart, you have to leave the area and return after killing the Hydra for it to show.

At the end of the cave you'll see a Golden Crystal Golem, kill that (be SUPER CAREFUL not to hit Dusk when she pops out of the Golem, so I HIGHLY do NOT recommend using Chaos pyromancy or anything that has a lasting effect). Talk to Dusk and she'll ask you if want to learn her spells. After that she'll disappear and her summon sign can be found next to a rock near the edge of the lake. Watch out for the Crystal Golems around you, because they can run up and accidently hit Dusk.[/sp] As for the DLC [sp]After you obtain the Lord Vessel, head to the Duke's Archives. Once you go up the first elevator (right past the two armored boars), there will be a Crystal Golem there. Kill the Golem and it'll drop a Broken Pendant. After you obtain the Pendant, head back to Darkroot Basin where you first met that Golden Crystal Golem and Dusk. You should see what to do from here.[/sp]

But the DLC is really fun, and totally worth it. Somehow the Painted World gives me the same 'additional content' kind of feeling.
