The zweihanders telecast their attacks quite a bit. It's just a matter of timing really. Also, not getting hit by one helps too. those hurt like a bitch.
The moment I get hit even once I get permanently stunlocked and can't move. Then they just go to town on me since I literally cannot do a thing.
Like I said. Don't get hit.
Like I said. Don't get hit.
Well it's easier said than done when Zweihanders have such a far reach, not to mention their attacks are so wide I even get hit when I'm behind them half the time.

Yeah, because they're fucking slow as shit. They're slow as shit swords, but a hit will break through
any poise you have. You trade off speed for stun.
You can try parrying but it takes a while to learn the delay, or you can just outmaneuver them.

Unless he has 77+ poise.
You could always just wait for them to attack and then get an attack in while they recover. That's annoying as hell to deal with :v:
Wish there was a good way to practice parrying Zweihanders other than by randomly meeting people who use them.
you can parry white phantoms
Really? That's odd. I guess you can't just riposte I assume?
yeah, you can't hurt white phantoms obviously and they can't hurt you but that makes them good for practicing parries
You wouldn't by chance happen to have a character near SL53 that could help me out? If you have time, of course.
Been defending castle greyskull all day today. It's pretty satisfying.

BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL, I HAVE THE POWER
You obliterated my SL1 character today :'(
can't right now, i'm sure you can find someone though, if you just summon a random guy theyll probably do it for you as well if you ask
Getting no luck finding anyone. Oh well, maybe another time.
Is anyone else seeing Butter (Margarine) for the chest slot here? http://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls/

Then stop trying to siege castle greyskull, skeletor.
Never had any problem with NAT being open before, but now suddenly GFWL is saying my NAT is moderate and that UPNP is unavailable even though it's turned on... What?

I'm like level 63
I only think I can two hand the zweihander though :v:

I love people that assume anyone that beats them=cheater. I LIVE to piss them off.
i remember seeing a vagrant when on my first visit ever to demonic ruins, it was on that peninsula between the lava
i had no idea what it was and it just disappeared after i came close to it :(

Sure that wasn't a Crystal Lizard?
There's only one crystal lizard in dr/LI, and it's not there. Might have been a vagrant.
I died shortly after the guy kicked me down in the Tomb of Giants and respawned back up, is it safe to simply jump again down there to recover my stuff or is there another way to do it?

You can jump down just fine.
Oh Darkmoon Forest
Had an invader who did nothing but spam WoTG, so he must have cheated
or did NG+++++ at like level 60
wonder what's most likely
Is a washing pole a viable weapon for a dexterity build? Also is it worth dropping 30 levels into faith for the buffs or should I just use resins, 30 levels could be used elsewhere more effectively I think.

In my opinion, if you're going with a dex build and you want a katana, I'd go for either the Iaito or the Uchigatana.
The Washing Pole requires too much strength to wield and only has a C scaling in dex when upgraded compared to the other katanas' A scaling. The durability and bleed buildup is a bit less as well.
The Chaos Blade is also viable if you have something to counter the HP drain.
But the washing pole has the range of a spear :v:

I'd go with Sunlight Blade and a +15 uchi.
Posting this in place for a buddy...

28 str/40 dex aka quality build

So versus a pure dexterity build using an uchigatana which deals more damage etc..?
