Why do my friend insist that runes are ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED to jungle? I'm still only level 16 so I'm not buying any runes until level 20 but I do great with Amumu in the jungle.
You take a lot less damage first clear and clear faster. It's quite noticeable but at that level you're not really going to be punished for being lower or a minute late so it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, like I wouldn't say if I was level 30 but at this point rune pages are pretty much necessary regardless of what you do or very useful to have but at my level runes are worthless.

Why 30? Atleast at level 20 you get access to the rank 3 runes so they'll last you forever.

I kept getting DCd from chat, now I just finished a game and had to wait around 30 seconds before VICTORY popped up. Now I'm waiting for stats. :s
Being level 16. The only runes you have access to are worthless anyway. Once you hit 20 buy up though, you'll notice a difference quickly even without a full page. It's quite a big difference.

IIRC a full runepage is roughly equivalent to a free Doran's item in terms of stats

Tried repairing/reinstalling the game?
I don't have special jungle runes and I don't see a reason why I would need them.

I can believe that, with Amumu I have no problem but when I tried jungling with Xin Zhao, shit was tough so I just stick to top with him.

mercs or tabi could be better depending on your opponents
the start should be
boots/book/cloth + health potions --> kage's lucky pick -> revolver --> lvl 2 boots and the armguard if the opponents have a decent amount of ad champions
if you want to go full damage then do the build pictured

Split push and never stop, the idea is with cdr you can spin and heal all day not caring about their collapses when you heal for 1k instantly, spin will insta clear a wave and lich bane will allow you to chunk towers.

my autos do so little damage though, pushing turrets takes forever, and if the enemy is good i'll usually have to waste ult every time they come to stop my farming/split pushing

after you buy deathcap though your heals will pretty much give you back full health
causes so much confusion in teamfights, and the cdr on spin, heal and ult is ridiculous
i find it a bit hard to kill people as AP tryn though, he's really reliant on his auto attacks to crit for spin reset
