What was the thing I read some pages back about the official downloader not working. Is there a specific place I need to download it from so I don't have to restart the download near the end? Thanks again krakadict, and enjoy your Dota 2.

Well for sure it's something unusual, in between a class based fps and a mmo. That's why I'm interested in it, didn't knew about the 'staged content' until I saw that video and I'm neutral about it anyway.

Hell I gave away over 400$ worth of games over the past 2 months and didn't get anything in return.

Is there any way to change resolution in an ini file? The ingame picker just keeps setting me to 1280x720. I'll play tomorrow, but this looks promising.

Holy crap, just got a beta key from some random contest I entered this morning.

Sweet just got my key after registering long ago. Can't wait to play this, a shame I didn't receive it at the start of my vacation rather than the end of my vacation which is now. But hey, I get to play so I can't complain.

Yay, got my key on a four day weekend. I'm probably going to forget to eat again.

After a solid 2 years of being signed up for the beta I finally received a key! However, when I try to create a character it keeps on saying the website is unavailable and to try again later, except I've been trying for the past few days. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this or if its even a bug or if its just bad luck on my part?

I've heard that there's been connection problems with the latest patch.
