So an update came out and the game runs a lot better for me now.

Finally got the Light Thumper, no more extreme grinding for basalt and quartzite.

Took me like over a year. But that's how i got in a first wave of testers.
But since you know tabula rasa, i would really wish to give you a next key i get.
Just so that you can confirm how similar they are. And how much potential Firefall holds.
Been playing for nearly a week now, and managed to scrape two keys together for more people I know to play. Anyone found that rock prop that the Light Thumper disappears into? Only the top 1/5 of the model sticks out and all the critters just run in circles around it.
I think I solo'd about 10 runs as a level 2 Engineer.

We did it a couple of times yesterday, but its boring when there's no threat involved.
Don't do it if you want a fight, it's for easy resources and not XP

Yeah a bit. He was glitched out and walking through walls and props while shooting his rifle full blast at whatever he was looking at, without doing the shooting animation. When I saw his face I lost it.
If anyone has a spare beta key I'd love one, been trying to get into this beta for a little while now and I still haven't got in :smith:
Last time I played this there were enemies spawning in rocks. But its still a whole lot of fun, especially when people do that Thumping thing.

I really love how red5 is improving performance more and more.
Next patch should improve performance again and fix slowdowns over time.
Spent like, a week to get to level 8 with assault only doing PvE
got medic to lv8 in a day doing only PvP
Also, the aesthetical armor change comes with leveling up or better equipment? The last Medic armor is so damn good looking.

Request beta access at the top and you'll recieve a forum account. You'll randomly recieve an e-mail but some people have been waiting for months. Browse the forum every now and it can raise your chances slightly (for being active) but dont beg.

Though more chances to get into beta is by getting invite.
Everyone gets a set of invites now and then. So expect someone from this thread repay kindness for getting invite and inviting someone from this thread too at some point.

Heh, I had trouble using the full installer and had to use Streaming installer instead.
You can force the full downloader into a file download accelerator (like jdownload) if you start the download, stop it, then start the accelerator. It stops the download rate from dropping to 100kbps for most of the download. I ended up getting it at roughly 1.8mbps like this.
So, theres a Facepunch group or something? How do I get into that?
