I have 5 myself and people post theirs all the time as well. I see people on the FF forums complaining about not getting in and I think if only they knew about facepunch.

One of the guys did say during Firefall Live a few weeks ago that they were going for open beta in summer because gosh darn its been closed for so long

this game really isn't going anywhere, unless they have some sort of huge patch planned for pretty soon pretty sad it's been in beta this long and still doesn't even seem close to being finished

So there's still a lot to come, and I don't know about you but I'm fine with slow development as long as it's quality.

Things just seem slow that is all. Hell look at all the stuff they have already done but not implemented yet. Right now they have some really big decisions to make with the chosen war front. ------ [IMG]http://i48.tinypic.com/r79nxd.png[/IMG] Would be epic for it to finish by the end of this week.

The chosen warfront right now is just a proof of concept, expect it to expand a lot. Right now, we are expected to get small updates from various parts of the dev team, instead of big ones. The thumper progress is at 97% to be exact, so most likely the end of this week.

Really hope they bring out more big updates soon, I just feel as though I am just repeating myself and such. More dynamic events or even some small quests would be nice, even if it is just to test them for a while.

So Tiki thumper is at 97% I asked Phobos about the progress in the modeling of the thumper and he said that animations, model, effects are done, audio is still missing Hopefully we will get it with the patch in the first week of February

Since they offer to be a founder, and since the game looks awesome, I ask is it worth it? I know it's still in beta, but I'm following this game for a little while and was wondering.

Personally I love the poster and it is always cold in the UK so hat is nice. [U]Army reserve[/U] = Worth if you like to make guilds/armies [U]Reason:[/U] If you play solo or are not interested in owning an army this is pointless for you. [U]Locust Chopper[/U] = Worth getting [U]Reason:[/U] Right now this is the best way of getting around and although you will get bikes later on in the game this one is special and only for the founders. If you like cosmetic stuff that lets people know you are a founder you will love this it is full of that stuff.

So I tried the game, and I'm a bit confused. Am I supposed to find loot somehow or is it all craftable only? I killed shittons of enemies and found nothing but ressources like Crystite. And there are no quests either?

All the resources you received have different stats of their own, so you can craft tonnes of different stuff. The dropped resource stats change abut every 2 weeks. Right now constraints on gear were removed so there is only point in getting the best gear, until an update, that is expected to be on the first week of February rolls out. In the mean time, explore, do dynamic events, there will be no XP wipes so all is saved. Also, crystite is currency. Don't expect getting tonnes of quests like in traditional MMO's in the future, this game is about dynamic and on-demand events, actually contributing to world's growth.

With the beta weekend, theres gonna be another wave of founder buys. They also confirmed there would be other 'packs' to purchase the in future with limited edition or rare items.
