So from what I've been reading on the forums Red 5 has decided to go back to the original "Leveling" system, they went from Vertical progression to horizontal and now from what I've read on the forums they are thinking about going back to vertical progression feeling some people feel the horizontal/tier system is too confusing along with the crafted gear.
So what are your guys feelings about this subject, its been pretty heavily discussed on the beta forums.
I, as one, like level progression systems because the 'reward' is more immediate.
On FFlive they said that instead of tiers, there will be one big tree, and one would have to work towards increasing constraint limits, constraints will also be more meaningful.

There isn't going to be customization in PvP, everyone will be using stock gear meaning T1 and T3 will be on level ground

For Arena PvP. Open PvP will allow whatever the player is using.
So have they given any ETA on the new patch, the one that will give founders their rewards and apparently add the new PVE milestone they seem to keep talking about?

This week or next, the milestone is going affect all parts of the game, not just pve.
I am kind of fed up with F2P shooters at this point, but I guess I could give this a try. Would anyone mind handing me a key?

General
Smooth progress bar added to DumpTruck for uploads of dumps after a crash
The highlight and the focus is now on the text field of DumpTruck so players are able to directly write a report
The 0.4 second delay between slotting a consumable and seeing it slotted in the ability bar has been removed
Open World
Added a new “Light Personal Thumper” to the game to fill the gap between the Stock and Improved Thumper. It’s cost is similar to the Improved Squad Thumper
The Explosive Aranhas' explosion now does 20% of its full damage if a player kills it. It will do full damage if it explodes on its own.
Fixed an issue where two Crashed Thumpers would spawn in close proximity to each other
Signal Scan event is now working
The Melding Guts refining process has been improved to get guaranteed refined items
Increased the resources gained from supply crates in the world
Removed explosive barrels from the world
Players are no longer able to spam El Terromoto which would produce audio and text repeats
Fixed the loss of the Hammer Time mission thumper when players joined a PvP match right after calling down the thumper
Interface
Steam overlay is now working with Firefall if you add Firefall as a non-steam game in steam
The W-Key now works when exiting a vehicle
Stylized cursors have been added to the game
Added a tooltip for water damage
Added a “drowning” damage type
The mouse is now able to be used during chat and players are able to click the text input box
Loot from encounters are now shown in the UI
Fixed the “SIN System Error” message when selecting the portable antenna in the manufacturing terminal
Performance
UI memory leak has been plugged
NPCs should now be animated properly at long distances
Increased the cache size of 64-bit systems to improve high performance areas while using high quality graphic settings
Audio
Players will now hear sound effects when using the Nav-wheel
Fixed an issue where players sometimes stopped hearing audio dialogue while playing Firefall
Fixed an issue with players losing audio while thumping
Account & character creation
Users can now register a new account from within the Firefall client
Gender icons in the character creation screen have been optimized to better differentiate them from each other
Recon
New Year glasses and SIN antlers are now invisible when recon uses the Decoy ability

I know right, I saw those changes and was so happy, but damn I'm kinda pissed, because in one of the dev sessions, they said founders would receive their tiki thumper in the next patch, but I'm going to assume they meant the next milestone patch.

Most likely they're going to wait for the milestone update, talk about all the new stuff that is added and then also be like founders her their special items. Seeing as how they did this whole founder drive, I don't think they're going to stop selling founder any time soon, which also correlates to the statement they said about they'd stop selling founder packs when they felt the game was ready to launch into a final non-beta build.

We just established a 4-man power tower on the antenna by the printer today.

So then we did the only logical thing, a tiki tower.

Holy molly the twitch integration is great, you just have to sign in and the game does all the streaming for you, no extra programs. I streamed the LGV need of speed race and won!

Been watching this game grow for some time but im still on the fence if I should just pay the $20 or wait for it to open up f2p.

If all you want is to get into the beta then you could just ask one of the many people here for a key which they have too many of, but the founder's packs and their benefits are definitely worth it, I'm not regretting buying Commander at all, especially not the LGV

whats with all the garbage coming out of the ground right now?
its getting pretty old trying to find something that isnt grey or white.
i stopped playing almost a year ago because of the same thing, nothing of value to thump.
