Found this guy in one of my matches (ON MY TEAM OF COURSE). He was in a conqueror. He hid in the base until 1/2 the team was dead, then finally drove alone towards the enemy horde. Pissed himself halfway there, did a full 480 (seriously), drove into the wall, finally unwedged himself, then stopped, pointing away from the enemy.
He turned his turret around, and began trying to fight them, just stopped there. Ass to the enemy. No attempt to take cover. No rationale. No engine, nor track damage.

I do this, except for the complaining part. Logically I know I shouldn't, but as soon as I see the enemy I'm like RAAAAGH CHASE. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, but when it does, it's fucking hilarious. Chased a KV1 in my Stug down a hill, he tried running away, but couldn't get away from me, and kept missing his shots at me. I however didn't miss.

Like most german tonks, you need to hold back behind the main thrust but unlike the snipers, wait for an opening to flank and use your speed. Race in and whack shit in the sides. Most similar to the DB, but a tier lower with same gun. If you play it like the more armoured VK3601H you won't enjoy it.
I finished my grind in pubs with high 50's W/R I think, which is good for me, especially as it was the first line I went down.

Seems to be the worst performing T6 medium. I really don't think it's as bad as that and everyone rushes to get through the (admittedly bad) grind from stock. Fully equipped I really did find it good, but maybe I'm the freak.
Have you researched the 88mm from the other Vks ?

If you don't have the 88mm L/56 yet, get it with free xp or on another tank or something. For your sake, do not play the 3001P stock. It's a huge tank that is slow, has no armor, shit turret traverse, virtually no gun depression, and kind of weak penetration even with the 88mm gun, but at least the DPS is nice.
Take lots of gold shells with you and hope you're not getting shit teams. Good luck, you're going to need it.

It's no t50-2, but I found it quite nippy with the top engine. Certainly fast enough to get into good vulture flanking positions. It's been a long time since I played it, so might buy it back and use the crew from my DB in it (once we know what DB XP is needed for the Leopard 1 line).
So many VK P haters can't be wrong.

For example, I always see people railing on the T25/2, yet after 111 games in it I have nearly a 70% wr.
Meanwhile, my "good" pre-schmallturm removal Panzer IV has a whopping 45% wr. :v:
"bad" T-43? 74% after 70 games.
"good" T-50? 40% after 95 games (What the hell?).
"good" Churchill III? Can't play it worth shit.
"bad" M3 Lee? 10 kills top.
"mediocre" T-34-85? Definitely one of the funner tanks I've played recently.

Back when there were no tracers at all, I would quite often do a little scare jump when I was cruising at 60kmph and suddenly my tank just explodes.
