Well the ELC isnt much of a scout TBH, it has pretty shit view range and a really nice gun.
I play it more like a super fast TD combined with a combat light. Exploit holes in the enemy line to get to advantageous positions and snipe at tanks. Or I just say "fuck it" and do drive bys on distracted pubtards.

So I had to revert to an old computer from 2004 because my laptop crapped itself after 5 years. I am pretty annoyed that low-end machines cannot run this at all because it's so terribly unoptimized.

What did you expect from the WoT forums. I only use them to trawl for information I might not get on another website like Facepunch or sometimes the subreddit on Reddit. I don't see the appeal of participating in the shithole known as those forums.

God, it really isnt that big of a deal. Those idiots over there are going to ruin everything for us.
Sounds weird but the ELC makes a great distractor. Everyone wants to get that kill, and those in big tanks who are stupid take the shot and miss, and get caught out in the open in the middle of a reload.
ELC is a torpedo bomber. You scream right towards someone's big fat side, launch your shell while going full speed at almost point blank range and do a sharp 90 degree turn to narrowly avoid a crash and gtfo to reload.
Someone does raise a good point though
