Thought I'd do a clean install of WoT whilst the server was down for maintenance. Forgot to actually grab a copy of the installer before the website went down and uninstalled anyway.. fuck.

Agreeing with perspective trick, T28/T95 is over 11 meters long while that tank in front is probably just a bit over 4 meters.

never had this much fun in a tank, this is the only tank I have with more than 50 battles and over 55% win rate.
My game keeps damn crashing whenever i hover over an un-researched module or tank.

Long story short, all damage resulting in kills for your team is added to a pool. All teammates get some of the XP from this pool. If you do damage, whether or not you kill them you will get xp/creds, but they must actually die to add their xp to the team pool. There is a very tiny bonus for getting kills, but doing damage nets more xp. For XP purposes, damage > kills. Remember that after the game is over, a percentage bonus is applied if your team won, and then premium (if you have it) applies another 50%. Winning is very important if you want to get lots of experience, but if you can't guarantee a win, cause as much damage as possible.
Also try to avoid capping the base if you can. If you think killing all the enemies is too risky and a cap is a relatively safe bet, go for it, but try to kill everyone when you can (unless of course they are giving out huge exp rewards for medals. If something like the invader medal is up, WATCH THE FUCK OUT FOR TKERS. I say this because in my Panther II, I was capping during an invader medal bonus week and some asshat IS-3 on my team tried to TK me. Nearly cost us the game and turned me blue because I had to kill him.)

I'm also grinding it, I got turned into swiss chesse by one of the new german tanks though. Also had my first game with a SU-100Y on my team.

Ran it just now and it stops responding while 'processing files'
Its corrupted the whole game and if I try run it now it just says 'Patch is not appropriate to existing version'

Got the AT-2 and it pretty much doesn't give a single fuck in tier 5-6 battles. As expected. Singlehandedly fought an 3001P, jagdpanzer IV and their supporting AT-2 and won with 50% health remaining. So many dings
