I hope they allow the helicopters with landing gear on to roll on the floor if they are going fast enough when they land, was going about 100km/h and did the lightest touch down so I thought the wheels would let it keep going until I stopped. But nope, just a did a full flip, just like what would happen if you slammed the front brakes on a bike while riding it.

I cannot believe this Alpha has already been cracked. I've been playing multiplayer for a bit and im running into a ton of people who said they didn't buy it.

It's disappointing that people are pirating the Alpha. I don't know why, and normally pirating games doesn't annoy me, but I've payed £20 and I want to play with other people who also payed £20.

How do I make it so that a trigger only becomes activateable AFTER another trigger has been activated? I'm trying to learn to use the editor - I made a task to kill civilians and then another one which activates afterwards to walk up to the bodies, but if you don't kill them you can still walk up to them and complete the task.

Basically it lacks the polish and finesse of the professionally produced Arma 3 models and textures, which I realize it shouldn't need to live up to.
Holy shit that -cpucount= X boosted my FPS from like 20-25 to 60 in MP. Sick.

I'm guessing an i5 3570k isn't hyperthreaded Also, I'm trying to make a fun mission called 'hiders and seekers' and it involves this: OPFOR (Seekers) and some unarmed civs (hiders) both spawn on the end of the pier in west Agia Marina. The unarmed civs have precisely 30 seconds to run from the end of the pier to the town from spawning before the OPFOR are allowed to hunt them down. (30 seconds is what it took for me to sprint in to the town and get in cover, so it should be alright.) Anyway, I was wondering how to do the following: 1. Lock the OPFOR soldiers for 30 seconds (or just prevent them from leaving the pier or something) 2. Add a timer which results in civilian victory after 10-15 minutes 3. Make some kind of alert when a civilian dies 4. Make some kind of alert when a civilian picks up a weapon 5. Lock gameplay to the Agia Marina area only Here's a vague map of what I want the playable area to be: [img]http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/2734/20130312160133.png[/img] I'd like to learn these things to get better with the editor [editline]12th March 2013[/editline] The weapons crate would be at the gas station in the south so that the seekers have an option to camp over it from a distance in exchange for some search efficiency
I've had cpucount=4 on since I first started playing, so I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, but I have everything maxed with an i5-2300k, 8GB RAM and a 670 2GB at 1680x1050, runs above 30FPS pretty much all the time. If this is the alpha, things can only get better from here.
