This felt pretty epic. Me and a buddy hiding, right after the assault ended and, while playing, his characters animations were really smooth and fitting to the cover he had, especially after he took out his assault rifle to pick off some stragglers. :v:
If anyone is still getting the issue where your friend is out of sync with your server, vice-versa get you and your friend on Hamatchi and it'll fix the problem.

you really don't need a mic to play with pubs but it makes it so much better

A mic really is a great investment. I spend all my time chatting on skype now. Great fun.
I just really wish that they along with a lot of developers recently would just put a "Push-to-talk" feature in and put it on by default so I don't constantly hear every second of other people's games because they don't realize they have Stereo Mix or their microphone on. I usually just use Skype and turn off the voice chat volume in-game when playing with people I actually know, but sometimes I do want to actually play with randoms just because the bots are unbearably stupid and I want to have some kind of communication with my team.
Although Overkill do seem a bit on-the-ball now, I've heard of people talking with developers that are playing the game and they seem pretty well-aware of the issues in the game, including the lack of advanced video options, so perhaps they'll implement push-to-talk at some point.
god I love this game
need to waste 20 minutes? jump in and do one heist
got time to sit down? spend 2 hours and do all the heists twice
the gunplay in this is so wonderful, once you get some AMCAR upgrades it gets real awesome

i just played the best pup game for like 3 hours straight. we nailed just about every mission except for slaughterhouse and diamond heist on hard the first try (we didn't get to those two). it was fucking amazing. best part was it was two of us level 40s and some level 20 and a level 6.
every win gave each of us like 4-5 level boosts. we kept nailing everything perfectly and everything just had incredible synchronization
all of the pubbers were 20+ years of age too i'm pretty sure. serious fuckin business.

did another pub match. this time it was with all brand new people on normal. i'm decked out at level 50 so i'm just walking around punching heavy cops and getting them to cuff themselves. meanwhile everybody is on the roof of the panic room heist and they all die leaving me to face off an assault by myself. 60+ swat dudes on normal versus a level 50 with a shotgun? terrible odds for those guys! after i was done i used all of my swat hostages to bring them all back from custody LOL
this game is the best
