I found Diamond Heist to be much easier with the AI than actual players - the AI never gets caught sneaking.
Sorry, but that's just bullshit. Source totally looks better than Diesel, and L4D didn't invent glowing through walls.
when did i say that L4D invented anything at all on that list. it might just be something people can make connections to?
Looking forward to buy this game when it goes on sale. It looks really interesting.
The game updated, does anyone have the patch notes?
I think it was just a fix for this problem: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2222193
Is that update that allows you to change graphical settings ever coming out?
Is that update that allows you to change graphical settings ever coming out?
Suppose to come out in Patch 3, we'll see I guess.
Anyone know any key sites where I could get this cheaper? I don't wanna pay 26 bucks for this.
Anyone know any key sites where I could get this cheaper? I don't wanna pay 26 bucks for this.
26 bucks? Holy shit. It was less than 9 for me.
26 bucks? Holy shit. It was less than 9 for me.
19 euros on steam and that translates to 26 dollars.
19 euros on steam and that translates to 26 dollars.
I thought they stopped equalizing dollars and euros. I'd help you if you had an ability to transfer 10 bucks to my WebMoney.
Nothing like L4D2, this is much faster-paced.
How can a game be more fast paced than L4D? Playing L4D2 on expert with friends is like injecting heroin in your face.
How can a game be more fast paced than L4D? Playing L4D2 on expert with friends is like injecting heroin in your face.
Depends on your play style
How can a game be more fast paced than L4D? Playing L4D2 on expert with friends is like injecting heroin in your face.
The way I see it L4D plays like "get one point to another, quick!", it doesn't really keep you on your toes on normal difficulties, you're just walking through the level shooting zombies running at you until the occasional special infected take you out of line. This game however, there's always something going on. You've got cameras to take out, objectives to do (some objectives going in parallel like wiping footage when the drill is going), cops flanking you in every possible way, snipers appearing from annoying places and pretty much there's always something to be doing.

Meaning mind of the player can't kep up with the game's events in an accurate manner. Extensive battle fatigue causes trouble.
Well you cannot really compare them, I only thought that playing on Expert with some of your good buddies it is one hell of a fight when hordes arrive or finales are triggered, just all hell is loose. This game looks really cool, unfortunately I do not know anyone who plays it. And singleplayer seems to suck.
Can someone from the US buy this for me? I'd send you the $20 over paypal.
...effectively causing "battle fatigue". Meaning mind of the player can't kep up with the game's events in an accurate manner. Extensive battle fatigue causes trouble.
From what I've watched, suffering battle fatigue is possible, but only if your team aren't on their toes in the first place and let events and problems stack up. If you are organised, and you team cover each other well (some stay behind to look after objectives while others go and run new objectives if possible) then I could see it being much easier to avoid mass panic. But where's the fun in that exactly :v:

This game is a lot of fun, but very difficult. Sometimes frustrating, like on Heat Street. Hi, get this guy and get him to the top of this street. OK, now I'm going to come get you. Oop, too many cops, strain your ammo to take them down. Actually fuck this go back down the street you just went up.

I haven't had so much fun with a game for a long time, but at the same time, been so frustrated. Here's an army of cops, AI is too dumb to do anything and your ammo is almost gone, lessee what're you going to do. Holy shit. I guess I shouldn't really be complaining though, since it wasn't possible to me to buy a legal version, I acquired it through.... non-legal ways, meaning I can't play co-op. Such a shame there isn't a retail version of Payday, would've flipped Skyrim off and bought this right off the bat. (User was banned for this post ("Warez." - Seiteki))
You get shellshocked? This must be the most intense game ever!
Not exactly, you just get worn out. Happens to me in games like Civ IV where, after fighting for 100 turns with Elizabeth, Montezuma declares war on me.
Sadly, I didn't receive this. Would you mind please print screening, or copy and pasting the message here? Thanks!

Hey man, Thank YOU for writing this awesome email to us, encouraging and inspiring us to keep supporting the game and its community with patches and DLC! Really, we appreciate it a lot! Also, spread the word about Payday and help making it a hit, then we'll do an even more awesome sequel to it! Cheers, Simon Viklund of OVERKILL Software
Wow just got Diamond Heist on overkill. It took 28 minutes since we had to deal with the CFO and Garnett's son. One of our guys crashed right at the end and we almost failed. I thought I was gonna be at least within the top 1000 on the leaderboards but I saw I was 1815, and my friend 118 with 4 minutes. I was frustrated a little to say the least, but I did go up 6 levels so I am happy.

We fucked the police and got down to the big diamond room, got the cutter, started cutting. After some time, the window got closed, we had no diamond and no cutter. What has happened? We got the "Are you ready" or something like that achievement, it was fun to melee everyone in that room while the bot shoots like mad because of unlimited ammo.
It also depend on bit lucky of randomization. I played Diamond Heist on overkill with my friends. The game really easy like playing on "normal" but the game just throw everything when we escape like 2 Bulldozers and 3 Cloakers. But it's still fun and pressured gunfight.
