And why did you "convice" them to cancel their pre-order?
Overkill were quite rude while dealing with the delay issue. They even responded to a customer who cancelled their pre-order saying "kthxbai." I was quite upset at the lack of communication and the way they handled the community. As a start up game company they can't be like EA and treat their customers like shit. [editline]8th November 2011[/editline]
Slaughterhouse is hard as fuck. I have yet to beat it on hard.
It's pretty easy once you get the gold into the shipping container. Just get the gas cans in between assaults, move as a team, hold your ground as a team.
People, add me on Steam and play, right now.
Beat Slaughterhouse with 3 AIs just insane. Spam Brenner 21 around and down like 10 times. But I yelled at the end with achieve.
This game looks really fun, is it worth it?
Grab your best comrades and yes. My motivation from beating the heists comes from some subconscious want for glory and increasingly bigger pots.

Add me on steam my name is Shewpawrd
Finished Diamond Heist without being seen until I got all the alarm boxes and finally got the saphires during it. Next have to try getting the giant diamond on overkill.
I swear, this game would be way more fun if there wasn't unlimited herd of coppers. This game is making me a cold-blooded criminal. I'm starting to fucking hate coppers.
is it just me or do the gang bangers at Chavez's crib fight alongside the cops?
Anyone know how to fix this? When I join a friends game it just freezes at "Connecting to Lobby" or whatever. It just crashes the entire game up. Running in Windows 7 64 bit, i5 750 @ 2,66GHz, 9800GT & 4gb DDR3 1333mhz. I keep trying after every update, no fucking use.
Also, devs have to tweak Panic Room's hide-n-seek rooftop gunners. It's fucking pathetic I have to continuously jump to be able to fire agaisnt them.-
I am normally the team's designated marksman in my group of friends. I love playing a sniper and I'm damn good at it too... which is why it amazes me that the Brenner is my favourite gun in this game. I just can't get over how powerful it is. Anytime you've ever thought "OH SHIT IT'S FULL OF COPS" now goes from being scary to being thrilling: one sweep and they all go down. Seriously get this gun.
I mailed Payday asking like hard stat numbers. Like uh...things people can't deduce, or you can test, but you get rather vague results. Like how we know Noob Lube and Mr. Nice Guy give 1.2x money, and how More Blood To Bleed only gives like 5 extra seconds. But we don't know enemy health or weapon damage, other than me testing how many shots the weakest weapons in the game (for the most accurate guess) take to kill enemies. The results were fairly obvious, but we also tested Aggressor too. It turns out that it gives such a pathetically low damage bonus, that on both normal and hard there was no difference in terms of how many shots it took to kill, with the weakest weapons (most sensitive in damage change). I'll admit, I didn't test it on Overkill, but I will sometime soon. I do however, feel with great certainty that Aggressor probably shaves off a few shots to kill on specials. So take it if you have issues with specials, or if it's the only perk you have, whether it's the only one you unlocked or the only one your team doesn't have. I do know, however, that through testing, thick skin gives about the same total bonus as extra ammo. Extra ammo gives +10% per level, ending with a whopping 50% ammo increase. Thick skin is the same max and increase per level, or slightly lower. Using testing against a very weak enemy, a security guard armed with a pistol, showed that it took a huge difference in shots between the guy with thick skin, and the guy without. We also tested Protector, and the bonus isn't too dramatic, but we'd assume it's around 15-25% upgrade to health. So yeah. I wish they'd return my e-mail! I want to put all of this on the wiki, so it can help greatly with people wanting to know how the exact differences between weapons, or how actually useful a crew bonus or equipment is!
Perk system is good, just let your team use different perks for each person. Perks will effect for members, not yourself. It really help on overkill.
Perk system is good, just let your team use different perks for each person. Perks will effect for members, not yourself. Shittier guns aren't more sensitive to bonuses. Measurements with that shitty gun are.
Shittier guns aren't more sensitive to bonuses. Measurements with that shitty gun are.
Well. I mean. A gun that takes 10 shots to kill only needs a very minor multiplier to take less shots, but a gun that does exactly half damage to an enemy requires a 2x multiplier to kill in one shot. Or wait. That means the same thing that you said. :V
Is there a way to play this game in windowed mode? The FOV makes me feel like there are magnifying goggles attached to my eye balls. It could get mawkish at times.
Is there a way to play this game in windowed mode? The FOV makes me feel like there are magnifying goggles attached to my eye balls. It could get mawkish at times.
There's an option in the video settings? Just uncheck the fullscreen button.
I'm so curious about noob lube perk, just want to know how to get this perk and know its ability.
You get it until about level 10(?) and it gives you a 1.2x cash bonus I think.
You get it until about level 10(?) and it gives you a 1.2x cash bonus I think.
I didn't see any nobe lube perk on upgrade list. For 1.2x cash bonus is from Mr. Nice Guy perk that unlock in REP.144
I remember when I first played this game. I had no idea how most of things work, and I accidently turned my skill tree to sharpshooter. So now I have about 20 things unlocked in the sharpshooter skill tree. Fuck.
I didn't see any nobe lube perk on upgrade list. For 1.2x cash bonus is from Mr. Nice Guy perk that unlock in REP.144
That's because you don't unlock it, it's given to you on level 1 and goes away on level 10.
Umm, so, I don't really feel like spending millions of hours so i can get the play with sexier toys (played for 8 hours already and only got to rep 16). Is there a a way to magically speed things up? Maybe a save file transfer or some kind of trainer? I really don't care, i just wanna enjoy my game without having the need to grind for shit.
I got to level 90 with 20 or so hours, the hell are you smoking? [editline]12th November 2011[/editline] Also, I have proof Hoxton is god. I was playing with El Huaxo on overkill in slaughterhouse. My team survived until the drill finished drilling but afterwards it was just the Hoxtamite and, as my teammates died and I was running for cover, I realized I hadn't taken damage in the 30 seconds or so of running. Lo an behold, Hoxtalicious was invulnerable. I was running around collecting the gold to see how far I could go. I got hit by two tazers but I managed to kill them before I got knocked out. Eventually, I got trapped in a sea of law enforcers and a cloaker kicked me in the balls. Hoxatron, the invulnerable man whose only weakness are his massive balls.
This game needs a train heist mission. [editline]12th November 2011[/editline] Okay now when I launch payday the screen is black what the hell.
This game needs a train heist mission. [editline]12th November 2011[/editline] Okay now when I launch payday the screen is black what the hell.
Singleplayer first world bank on easy = training mode really
No I didn't mean a training heist mission. I meant a TRAIN ROBBERY MISSION. You know? Some train just happens to have something of value on it, so the Payday Crew goes to intercept it. Something out of a wild west movie but more modern.
