Teach me, master. Tell me your ways.
I keep playing diamond heist and trying to get as many blue gems as possible. (They give 100k each, so you'll level up real quick)
After you guys said the steam forums were stupid I went to check them out now that they're back up.
I damn nearly threw my fucking computer out of the window, here is a list of a few gems.

Actually, it's 47 hours. Just checked. My bad. v:v:v

I've got over 100 with my 43 hours :c00lbert:
I've played diamond heist for the first time yesterday, we managed to disabled all the security boxes and the vault opened. It was tense as fuck. We walked right into the trap and got ambushed by coppers. All of us went down in seconds except for one guy that managed to run and made it to the helicopter. It was awesome. I loved the idea of not killing poor souls, loved the costume music, loved the alternative option of disabling the box.
Like someone mentioned before, it's the only one that truly feels like a heist, not just a mindless killing spree. Next, we try for the big diamond!

102 in 36 hours for me! (Played way to much diamond heist/Overkill)
We need more technical heists. Diamond Heist was good because of the whole randomness but mostly because of how technical an strategic it was.
I can see that train heist having a scene involving you chasing a mob leader down the train, and if you can't catch him in time, he'll blow the train up, separating it and derailing it, forcing you to run up hill agaisnt shittons of mobsters to intercept the car that's transporting the boss.
And if you miss that, maybe Bain would try to force the car to stop by hovering in front of the car in his heli.
And maybe you'd have a small chance that it succeeded an you'd get to run away right there and then, but if not, it'd run right through the heli and you'd have to escort an injured Bain to a pickup spot by some other guy.

Or fuck, maybe just hijack some other train and have bain drive it while you shoot cop helicopters down.
videogamedunkey's review on this game was hilarious
I still want to know who the hell was Slick. :downs:

Because of cheesy voiceacting, I assume it is Matt.
It'd be nice if they actually did some sort of cinematic or something instead of the awful black screens with subtitles and audio in the background.

Personally, I always enjoyed the black screen and audio. For it being made by an indie company, it completely satisfies. Now if this was a $60... I would want some visuals too.
The black screen and audio gives off the black ops feel. The covert and sly conversation and planning.

How many people were in the crew anyway?
The main 4 and bain.
Matt, bruce, the plane guy from panic room, alex. The plane guy from green bridge (maybe alex), the getaway driver from First World Bank (maybe matt or bruce), slick and the heli guy from heat street(maybe alex again) Any others?
I wish we could skip the map intros, they're quite irritating now.
There's the truck drivers in Slaughterhouse's ambush too.
I wish we could skip the map intros, they're quite irritating now.
They're almost as fast as Left 4 Dead's intros and get you in the sort of a "Heist" mood instead of "oh hey yeah I'm gonna kill a few guys" like if it's a daily routine.
What's the point of the silencer with the cross kill?
How do i get the "But how?" achievement?
How do i get the "But how?" achievement?
You have to wait for 3 assaults to end and it'll drop.
Just purchased the game today, seems pretty cool, but while I was playing heat Street, my game crashed before I could finish with my random group.
Need to find some people to play with.
purchased game today my steam profile

What's the trick to making cops surrender?
So far only I can only make Security Guards surrender (and only about 60% of the time), everyone else (including police officers) fight to the death.
My friend however has absolutely no problem arresting like 6 FBI agents in a row...
[editline]26th November 2011[/editline]
I mean there was a SWAT guy who I shot with a pistol, ordered to surrender, shot, ordered, shot, ordered, shot, ordered, shot and he died.
What am I doing wrong?
Just shoot their arms and legs till they get flung around shootthem once mroe and they surrender. It's important that there isnt much backup arround.

To make cops surrender you have to melee them ONE time, then shout at them until they cuff themselves
It's important that there isnt much backup arround.
Very important: if they have buddies around they probably won't give up.

The one I attacked with a pistol was alone, I had shot his friend already and my team was right outside the door of the room we were in.

Pardon my ignorance but, there's melee?
Which key is that?

For me it's bound to "E", but check the controls section and see if you haven't bound the "E" button to something else.
