And I use different weapons based on what I feel like. If we do Panic Room I'll use the Shotty, M308 on Heat Street, etc. All weapons are interchangable with the Carbine though, which I'll gladly use on any map. Mine's fully upgraded so it tears shit up.
What is the replyability of this game like compared to L4D2?
Personally I have a lot of fun with it.
Just wondering. I was going to preorder it, but then I remembered my Brink, Duke Nukem and Spore preorders...
should've bought it when it was 50% off
Speaking of which, there's going to be a gaming expo in my city. I'm going in as Wolf.
And I will scream my fucking lungs out if I so much as spot a Sam fischer :v:
You better film it

Just point at him and shriek "OH SHIT, CLOOAKER!".
Watch out tho, he might kick you in the groin and start smacking you with a baton.

It will probably be 50/75 off in the chirstmas sales.
I mean, Wolf is the perfect costume. It has personality and is easy as shit. Just a suit, a toy shotgun and a white mask with the bottom half colored red and some black itchings in the mouth
Speaking of which, I might just shave my head and my mustache too.
[editline]4th December 2011[/editline]
Oh, wait, wolf has a must.
[editline]4th December 2011[/editline]
Shit, I don't have a suit, I'll have to spend 50 some euros on this costume. Damnit, I'm getting cold feet.
I wish Overkill would sell the masks of the robbers.
Isn't Dallas' for sale? As a promo item or something.

They gave it out at some press events, but you can't actually buy it unless you get it off an eBay auction or something.
Doesn't Sony online have an online shop? I mean, payday was a huge success if you take its upbringing into account.
God, this is seriously probably my favorite shooter of the year. (Only possible exception being EDF: Insect Armageddon. :v:) I'm hopelessly addicted. It just does so damn many things... right. This deserves a lot more recognition than it's gotten thus far.
most intense game of the year for sure, especially on hard/overkill
Yeah, I agree with the above posts. This game is amazing, and very well designed. For the price tag it's totally worth it, and with DLC coming for it as well it's a great investment.

Cannot agree more. Already one of my favorite games ever.
yay, me, EDDY TT and mr someguy and some random dude managed to beat the diamond heist for the first time
Which reminds me, is there any way to guarantee that the codes will work the first time you try them in Diamond Heist? I didn't think it was possible, but I've seen some playthroughs that get the codes to work immediately. I managed to get through the first section undetected earlier (single-handedly, I might add :v:) and the codes still failed when I tried them.
it's random. Reeaaally unlikely, though.

Negative. It's random, and very rare.

Bleugh. Oh well. I guess I can see why, though, because otherwise it'd make farming extremely easy.

I think you get a bigger chance on OVERKILL.
I dunno this game just seems really generic and boring to me. I kind of regret buying it.
how come i got 1950k for beating diamond heist and 2100k for beating first world bank on hard
what's the point in playing diamond heist when you get so little for it
I dunno this game just seems really generic and boring to me. I kind of regret buying it.
I see judging from your Steam that you've only played 2.9 hours. Early on, it is pretty boring... you have to level a bit and gain access to more guns and perks before it really gets interesting.
Not that that's any excuse. A game should never have to be played for a while to get interesting. But personally I can look past that because it's such a damn fantastic game otherwise.
i fucking hate people that kick you because you have low rep, i just done slaughterhouse on hard with a guy who was rep 5.
i fucking hate people that kick you because you have low rep, i just done slaughterhouse on hard with a guy who was rep 5.
Ive recently got to Rep 50, but I was getting kicked left right and center, and sometimes still do by people 80 +
The only mmission I've yet to complete is Slaughter House, but the closest I came was with a bunch of Rep 30's. Tried it with people around 70-90, and we got our asses kicked.
We ought'a organize a game sometimes, y'know? Do we even have a steam group?
I'm sure this question has been asked countless of times, and I apologise, but is this game worth the money?
Furthermore, does it feel like a PC port? Are the X and Y mouse sensitivity axes 1:1 or are they a mess like in Skyrim?

It's pretty cheap but you can wait until Christmas sales. In my opinion it's worth every single cent, don't remember about the sensitivity axes though. Doesn't feel like a port at all, at least from my point of view.
