If you want to get max level it's as easy as grabbing someone else's max level save file and copying it over yours. No need to use debug menu (not that it matters, if you hadn't booted up the game in between the DLC launch download and the update, you won't get to see it anyway)

If anybody's interested I made a video while the debug menu was still accessible showing off godmode and noclip. Skip to 2:05 to see noclip.
So. How's the turret and Technician Bag?
How are the new weapons?
How are the new heists?
How are the new achievements?
We must know.
So. How's the turret and Technician Bag?
Turret is fun to use and there is no Technician bag, the turret is what replaces the bag.
How are the new weapons?
AK is powerful and reasonably accurate, Stryk Pistol loads of recoil and reasonable damage, and Grenade Launcher will only kill if they are within a 1metre radius of the explosion.
How are the new heists?
Counterfeit is alot better than Undercover, Undercover has poor lighting so its an annoyance to play, but the ability to smack around your hostage is fun. Counterfeit is super easy money and can be done without being detected once and not killing a single person.
How are the new achievements?
Some are reasonably easy, apart from the Pacifist achievement. Which requires you to complete Counterfeit on Hard without killing a single person, you need a well organized team of 4 people to take everyone hostage within the first 20 seconds.
How are the new heists?
Counterfeit is really deceitful if you get detected. It starts off easy enough - the whole map is two houses, a large backyard, a basement connecting the two houses and the road surrounding everything. There's 7 potential hostages all near eachother and everything's open enough that you can easily see the police coming first and take them down before they get near. Everything turns to hell once the enemies increase in numbers and manage to get near the main playing field. Suddenly, the open backyard is used against you - there's barely any cover to use to fight back, so you'll end up being forced into the houses that are cramp and FILLED with chokepoints where you can easily go down. Than there's the matter of fact several mission-related items are outside on the street where the police are stationed, without any sort of cover. Both times I've tried Counterfeit I lost. Ho hum.

Then as soon as you get in the basement have both doors open then you wont get trapped and can easily get out. Whenever you need to turn on the power/switch the water back on, send 2 people out to do that while the other two hold of the rest of the enemies from reaching the basement. Just keep returning to the basement and use the chokepoints as easy kills, and as soon as the Safe blows its pretty much a 20 second run to the hatch and you're clear.
I'm still mainly new to Payday, so I'm probably just very shit at it anyways :v:
The 2 new heist are good. Counterfeit is fantastic, I like the green scenery and how they took something from No Mercy (Keeping the hostages in check) and made you able to complete it without getting caught. Undercover is hard as fuck, the fact that it's so dark and so confusing to get around is a pain in the ass. Planks are barely useful. It only takes a swat guy to break them and come inside in droves and let the sniper see you. The Technician class is pretty fucking amazing though.
So, is there a way to get past the 2nd police encounter without being detected, ive tried taking them out immediatly, taking them out in the alleyway and waiting for them to come closer but they see the hostages and call it in
How does stealth in Counterfeit work exactly? For the life of me I can't seem to figure it out without Bain talking about how he hears some 911's and then the assault wave starts.

Then wait in the house, hiding. Take your silenced B-9s, and headshot the police officers, but do not go out on the street or the call will come in.
This is 5 bucks right now, I missed it during the Steam summer sale, is this worth it?
Take your silenced B-9s, and headshot the police officers, but do not go out on the street or the call will come in.
Does this apply to the 2nd round of cops or?
Does this apply to the 2nd round of cops or?
I didn't get to the 2nd round of cops, but I'd assume so. Playing with pubs makes things relatively hard. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline]
Is the backyard fair game?
I believe so. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] Also, I just checked on the SPUF, people are whining loudly because they believe the DLC is overpriced. :v:
Why are there so many crowbars in undercover? Seriously I've found like 7 just lying around.
DLC Pack costs 9.89. I just don't understand these business practices anymore. And, yes indeed. I bought the game. A sweet deal, and all but.
This is terrible. No money.
I like the looks of Technician and all, but... That's like half the money I'd otherwise use for Torchlight II. Also, dem pesky neighbourhood watch. >:
I hope to god that, they either make some sort of friendly video recorder for people to make heist mini videos like GTAIV type style. or they add some kind of tool for anyone to make their own heists. because then it will add a lot more to the game.
A better price for the DLC would have been 5 bucks or so... main game includes 6 heists and 3 classes, they're charging half the price of the main game for 2 heists and 1 class. I bought it anyways, though, considering I've already got way more than my money's worth from this game. My only worry is that, with such a high level cap, unlocking stuff from the Technician class is going to take FOREVERRRR. It already takes 2-3 heists to gain a level at around 140, I can't imagine what 190 is going to be like.
