Though this thread has been dead for about a week now, some interesting findings have come up over on SPUF. Where do you see a connection to Castlevania? The bottom two masks in that image both have connections to France: Dallas's mask represents the French flag and Hoxton's mask has the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleur-de-lis]fleur-de-lis[/url] symbol. The top right mask, Chains's, has a silhouette of a tree that's identical to a tree seen in one of the paintings in Counterfeit. Hence, the popular theory at the moment is that this mask set is tied to the supposed secret of Counterfeit since Mitchell is thought to be French. However, these masks are not yet defined in the game files, so they can't be used at all. We don't even know the name of the set yet. Why does the bulletproof vest regenerate? Why don't you carry the bags of money you steal from FWB? Why don't they just shoot at you from above? Why don't they just bomb you? Its a game, I don't think it needs to be that realistic. A boat map could be fun.

May I ask, is there anyway to eliminate the smoke entirely from the game? Or atleast edit it out? It doesn't really make the game anymore challenging, just turns it into a clusterfuck on maps like Panic Room and Undercver.

Or atleast edit it out?[/QUOTE]Theoretically, it is possible to modify the smoke texture to make it fully transparent (I'm assuming it's just a simple alpha mask), but finding it would be nearly impossible as you'd have to single out some nondescript gray clouds among thousands of unnamed textures. This is why we need mod support many great games can live longer thanks to the community support. Payday has potential for big mods.

Successfully manage to get a Heavy Swat give up for the first time, unlocking the challenge will level me up and heal the health I desperately need. (Panic Room on Hard) Just as the Swat is reaching for his cuffs, this random guy (Was just me, 2 friends and Bot Wolf, he just joined mid-game) runs up and shoots several shotgun blasts into him. I just look up and stare at him for a moment, I'm then instantly incapacitated by a shotgun wielding Blue Swat, my 2 friends are pinned upstairs, the guy playing as Wolf runs off downstairs and is gunned down by shields. We were better off with Bot Wolf.

When you get idiots like those, you can do shit like don't heal them when they are downed, or until the last second, and not trade them when they can be traded.

Just got this game recently, and I just cannot stop thinking Dallas looks like a younger, less chubby version of Bam Margera..I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this, the image is set in my mind and I will never be able to un-see it.
