Mass Effect Megathread: Electronic Skills Still Too Low - Games

Any hope for a complete edition (All of the dlc) ?

I kind of feel like that is what the Mass Effect Trilogy bundle thing should have been. All 3 games with all the dlc included.

I'm beginning to think Javik was actually the avatar of comedy.

Finally completed my trilogy playthrough 100% paragon with a few necessary renegade actions which includes all dlc and romancing liara every chance I HAD. (Picked Destroy Ending with 5.5k+ EMS) I have to say... I feel much more at peace and while I'll probably never forgive bioware for the stance they pulled but I can admire them for giving me one last chance to well hear my comrades, my brothers and sisters joys, and their sadness, as well their peace in accepting where they stand. Being a 90's kid ill argue most games from that decade is mostly better than games nowadays but nothing compares to the masterpiece of storytelling, balance between combat and rpg, emotional attachment, fantastic voice acting. and well giving us a chance to become the Hero we always wanted to be. I'll Miss you Shepard, You were me and I was you and I'll never forget that.

I appreciate the cast and crew being allowed to do as they would and they wanted to, but actual ending is still ass, and no amout of whitewash will change that unless the endings themselves were retconned. As someone fully invested in game writing and game design, I simply can't go "oh well it's ok the endings completely derailed everything cause DLC", because BW themselves said this potentially closes off advancement in the universe from a player perspective. How fucking stupid is that.

I just headcanon, as far as I'm concerned I got my happy ending when combining the EC, Citadel, and my imagination.

The whole Catalyst thing still comes out of nowhere but it gives you more explanation and reassurance than before, as do the endings themselves.

uh no, no it didn't. Expanding bad writing is still bad writing. Watching a 4 hour Uwe Boll movie is better than watching a 2 hour one? I'm thinking prolly not. It's no secret Me3 contains both the best and worst writing in the series. Including more of the best doesn't really change the worst into something else.

Just finished Citadel. The party is my high point for the entire trilogy. The humor, the camaraderie, everything about it is just perfect. I've now lost my will to finish my final playthrough, or ever really touch the series again, because I know it's all downhill after that. Just hanging out at a party with the cast of characters I've spent 3 games adventuring with is enough of an ending for me.

So I'm going back to ME3 for the first time since the extended edition for Leviathan and Citadel, after picking them up I'm going to have enough silly points left over for either the Firefight or Groundside Resistance pack, does anyone have any recommendations on which is better for a infiltrator (I already have the Indra)?

Recently I got back into playing multiplayer. I had a free package and I opened it. Originally I got really mad at MP because I never got classes or good shit - always something I never wanted or needed. Of course, this time I get a class. Talon fucking Mercenary Engineer. Omni CROSSBOW. Holy Jesus that's cool. And it's literally Zaeed. I am totally okay with this. Then the weekend challenge package gave me my Hurricane II.. which is okay ish because the Hurricane isn't so GODAWFUL anymore. Then I got the Collector Rifle and that thing is also pretty amazing. So yeah I guess I'll be playing more now. :v

The ending is still poorly written but thanks to Leviathan it no longer completely comes out of left field and thanks to Citadel I feel all the more strongly about the universe I'm leaving behind.
