• Mass Effect Megathread: Electronic Skills Still Too Low

Last threat someone posted a link to a mod that "fixes" Ashley's retarded hair in ME3, did anyone happen to save it?
It's no secret Me3 contains both the best and worst writing in the series. Including more of the best doesn't really change the worst into something else.
Very true.
You're okay with them shitting all over the lore with EC? How do you do that, tell me! I want to be okay with it too!
I lowered my expectations. As I said, all I wanted was dead Reapers, galaxy rebuilt / restored to order, Shepard alive and Liara with him. And the extra scenes did just that. I do recognize Bioware still gave Mass Effect 3 the worst possible ending. It's just that I'm offended less, since the above basic desires have been fulfilled for me.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck I'm still getting sad. This is the last time we'll see Shepard and Co, and it is now fully hitting me. Maybe, just maybe, Bioware will get their shit together with ME4, and MAYBE they'll have some characters as lovable and loved as the current ones. [sp]But I doubt they'll ever be as loved as the veteran characters. Nobody will be able to replace guy x's Liara or guy y's Garrus. My Garrus. Husbando of the year all years etc.[/sp] That final fucking scene with the Normandy was Bioware saying goodbye. Garrus saying that some of the best times of his life were on the Normandy, and how it has been a great run, and Shepard replying with "The best." was it for the series. It's all over, as far as Shepard goes. rip

Classified spectre magic or not, a lot of people already know their part in taking down Saren/Stopping (supposedly) the collectors and combating the reapers. I'll be put off if the characters I've come to love don't appear, or are tiny, minor parts of the next game. But oh well. Here's to optimism.
Don't spec out the crossbow, it's awful. However, do spec out Cain mines.
yes, I did cain mines first and foremost I upgraded the arrows only for more nade capacity [editline]8th March 2013[/editline]
Fuck fuck fuck fuck I'm still getting sad. [sp]This fight against CloneShep is bullshit. He doesn't fucking need infinitely respawning backup, the guy can fuck me up all on his own. God damn, playing on insanity first time through was a mistake.[/sp] Also, Javik and Wrex continue to be totally awesome. [editline]8th March 2013[/editline] Jesus, this DLC never ends.
I'm on the edge of buying some of the DLC. I'm pissed they put a great and interesting character as a paid DLC. I also started my Jack-romance character in ME3 only to realize that it was a clean ME2 character (no Wrex). I instantly lost interest. Playing as an Adept didn't help, with Liara you're fine with any half-biotic class.
Just purchased Citadel DLC. Now, for the wait...and to beat ME2 again....
What's the deal with all the [sp]hidden presents[/sp] in the Citadel DLC?
References to the multiplayer and its players. This DLC is a gold mine.
or even a giant statue of Shepard with a reaper ship in a headlock in the middle of the citadel.
Holy crap. This is perfect.

They really should have implemented something like unlock tokens so you know, can unlock what you fucking want. The higher the rarity the more tokens it should cost. Same should go for classes, use the tokens to unlock more classes or to continue giving the class you're using more customization and XP. Would make MP much less irritating.

They could still have random boxes alongside a selected unlock system.

The sly arrogance of the Vorcha was nailed there.
So what was the added content to priority Earth thing that was in the leaked info.
Pretty much an entire battle sequence spearheaded by geth salarians and turians.
Maybe these are lessons they've learnt for the next game?
They really should have improved the system already. I stopped playing MP shortly after the first DLC came out for it as I moved on to other games, and because of this I find it hard to get back into because the game constantly gives me really old crap, weapons that either just plain suck or weigh too much. Though the free pack that I can't remember what was from, gave me the Geth Juggernaut, which made things a little more entertaining. But still, I want to try out all the new weapons and classes from the all the previous DLC's without having to deal with the bullshit dice roll mechanics.
The problem is, a token system like that doesn't work as well with microtransactions, and before you say they should have not have them either, they're probably what let EA release the MP DLC for free on the consoles.
I thought about that while typing out that post. They could easily just bundle an X amount tokens and misc supplies to different levels of costs.
Pretty much an entire battle sequence spearheaded by geth salarians and turians.
is there a video for that?
the cut vocal content is around somewhere, but as for the actual battle it was never finished, hence lack of inclusion.
I love the banter between the veteran solider and engineer. I feel old Greg, really, really old.
If I [sp]Don't talk to Thane before the Cerberus coup, will he still be present in the Citadel DLC, or does he die at some unspecified point?[/sp]
