Mass Effect Megathread: Electronic Skills Still Too Low

It's getting harder and harder to resist buying this DLC.
Saw a guy on the train just now with an N7 hoodie, gave him a thumbs up. Didn't expect anyone in this small town to have one of those. He had the new one though. I would've worn my old one but for some reason I chose not to. Blah

Why haven't you bought it yet?
It might just be fanservice but my god its good!
He's like one of those stereotypical TV nerds where they just have to get way into the series' details like listing all of the inconsistencies that doesn't matter.
I thought that post was intended as a joke, and somehow everyone ended up taking it seriously :v:
Why would Shepard's memorial plaque say "Commander Shepard"? Surely Bioware could have made it so it displays your chosen first name, now that would have been cool
Cmdr. Titty Shepard
Cmdr. SAVE ME DAMMIT Shepard
I just name my Shepard as Commander
Everything thinks they're calling her by her rank and she thinks they're calling her by her first name, it makes perfect sense
Well, I played the DLC. Now I'm depressed. That was probably the best of all the characters, and it's the last we'll see of them. At least now I have the "what a great trilogy, sad to see it go" feeling instead of the "good lord what did they do to the trilogy" feeling.

I guess now I just have to do the different party variations. What are all of them? I did upbeat>even upbeater>then I told glyph to go check on Liara while she was fighting with Vega.
I think this DLC should have been the ending, screw that damn child ending, partying is always better. I've never had so much fun playing an addon. Kinda a kick in the teeth that this wasn't in the game to begin with.
So [sp]does Mordin show up if you go through the insane hoops to make him survive?[/sp]
Wait wait wait wait wait.
Survive?
Wait wait wait wait wait.
Survive?
[sp]You convince him to not sacrifice himself by having Wreav run the Krogan and have the female Krogan die. He decides that the Krogan would have terrible leadership and the rebellions would begin again if you cure the genophage. So basically, he lives, but his will has been broken and he's completely depressed. And Wrex is dead.[/sp]

I almost died at this scene.

Eh, this DLC doesn't really fit anywhere in the game though. The tone throughout the entire thing is pretty much the polar opposite of the rest of the game and having it in the base game would have been jarring as hell. A case could be made that stretching this DLC throughout the latter half of the game will dilute it enough to fit though. Besides that though, there is literally nothing in this DLC that is absolutely essential to the main plot, and it's fanservice through and through. Quite frankly, it's the best example of how to do DLC that I've seen in a long time.

I gotta say though, the whole thing about [sp]Shepard having a clone for the sole purpose of spare organs[/sp] was an infinitely better explanation than I was expecting.

[sp]Yeah, the clone plot in general was better than I expected, despite its deliberate over-the-top tone. CloneShep wasn't Shepard, he just looked and sounded like him. The personality, authority, jealousy, and sense of right-and-wrong were unique to him. He struck me as bitter that he was "second fiddle" and I liked that the DLC's message is that what makes Shepard...well, Shepard is the people he has with him. It might have been Mission Impossible: Space Edition, but it was well done.[/sp]
So. Now that I have [sp] control of the Normandy again and killed that evil bitch Brooks [/sp] What comes next? How much crew member stuff is there?

Oh, so you pretty much lose either way.
[sp]As much as i love Mordin, i love Wrex just a bit more[/sp]

Probably about 2, 2 1/2 hours worth. More than that if you include both variations of the party and maxing out the combat arena.
I think the party has more than two variations, unless the second dialogue choice just makes the second segment swap from one version to the other.
It probably has a dozen or more variations, come to think about it. I've only tried the party by inviting everyone I could; would be interesting to see how the party changes with less people.
I'm making a thing.

Oh man. I think I need to go back like 10 hours or so. I went for the Citadel DLC as soon as possible, I now realize that I missed pretty much half the squad members. And it feels odd partying like you are going to die tomorrow if you are around the halfway point in the game.

Make sure to post more pictures of your Garrus.
Gonna play through the trilogy again some time soon, what class should I play as?
Already done playthroughs of all 3 games as infiltrator and vanguard.

Soldier or Sentinel.
Yeah, adept is great fun in ME1 but in the rest of the games he looses his spark. In ME3 is better to be sentinel with Liara in your team. Her singularity is enough to do a lot of biotic explosions.
Although I think sentinel is pretty bad in ME1 but gets much better in the rest.
To me Commander Shepard always felt like a soldier. Just something about him (John Sheploo, at your service)
Jesus, been messing around in the arena, and Samara and Javik rape everything. Biotic explosions everywhere.
Makes me miss her all the more :(

Probably my favorite loading screen.
I like how you can even see Cronos Station.
I like how they managed to make a combat arena that's actually fun to use, rather than the shitpile that was Pinnacle Station.

I just love that the whole story was cheesy as hell. Like a saturday morning cartoon. :v:
