Mass Effect Megathread: Electronic Skills Still Too Low - Games

I didn't really like Liara's drastic archetype change from ME1 to ME2. She was the naive nerd in the first one and was too cute, then she becomes this dark, unemotional thing I don't want to talk about. It's like LI cancer.

Bioware is known for their writers' lacking consistency, but character all of a sudden going "let's fuck Shepard" is stupid. Every single crew member (romancible, that is) did it in ME2. And now they go as far to fuck Shepard as to change their sexual orientation.

The LotSB DLC explains a lot of it; it's the main theme of the Redemption comic.

ME2 might be my least favourite of the series, but it definately has my favourite intro. Drifting off into dark space, the oxygen keeping you alive hissing out of your suit as Shepard clings to life. And fails.

A friend of mine, recently playing through the trilogy for the first time as Paragon, who ended up romancing Garrus, watched Mordin die singing yesterday. He wept, and then felt better after seeing Garrus and Joker joking. Then Thane died less than an hour later, and he wept further. :(
