seriously? It's so goddamn heavy. Do you live in Canada?

on second thought we might not have the same one

Sweden. So I guess it's comparable, roughly the same latitutes.
that explains it
i wish i'd just ordered the ladies' lightweight one, it'd be so much more comfortable even though the sizing would be uncomfortable
[editline]14th March 2013[/editline]
i'm just pissed that it isn't as comfortable as i'd expected

ye this is mine right here, fairly sure it's the first set they made.. i've had it for 3 years give or take, starting to get frayed on one side cuz one of the straps on my backpack has velcro on it, sigh
ah. i've got that one too. i've only warn it like three times because it's so uncomfortable. :( waste of money.
What the heck, I saved Maelon's Data in ME2 and defused the bomb, yet Eve still died on the Cure the Genophage mission.
[editline]14th March 2013[/editline]
something must have bugged
I think I'm gonna run through this on Insanity again, haven't done that in quite a while. I need a femshep code to look like ME2's default femshep, though. That's the best femshep.
also what class should I run it as? Choices...
also obviously i will romance traynor

Romancing Garrus? Good, you're romancing Garrus.
I saw a teacher wearing the N7 hoodie the other day. I was the only one in the school to comment as it wasn't based off cod or fifa and therefore no one else had any idea.
Did you say, "I should go."
diana allers best character 2k13
diana allers best character 2k13
Diana allers was probably the fastest time i've ever clicked on a dialogue option in my life, i had my mouse hovering over where i predicted the "no" option would be the entire time she was speaking. last thing i needed was a reality show based on my ship.
I don't romance garrus because we're too close as super bros. Plus if I leave him alone he gets to romance Tali, which is nice.
Normally I'd do it with Liara but honestly she's too...formal. Traynor's awesome. It's not overly sexual COUGH JACK COUGH and it's not super obnoxious (James). She carries her toothbrush with her and plays asari space chess. it's a nice refreshing change.
[editline]15th March 2013[/editline]
I brought her with me just because I knew it'd boost war efforts. I regret it.
Are we talking about the Extended Cut or the vanilla ending here? Regardless, these are the main bullet points:
- Thematically wrong; Mass Effect's main theme is strength through diversity and success against overwhelming odds. The ending of Mass Effect 3 tries to say that the main them is how Organics & Synthetics can never co-exist which comes out of nowhere (and the existence of EDI and the new Geth completely disproves it).
- Pulls a literal Deus Ex Machina which is one of the riskiest tropes to pull off...and they didn't. Leviathan helped alleviate some of this, but you don't EVER introduce what is arguably one of the most important characters in the entire story in the last five minutes.
- The 4 choices given are the same, regardless of your actions across the trilogy (unless you had a pitiful EMS, at which point Synthesis is locked out). Additionally, this flies in the face of the promise that Mass Effect 3 would not just have an ABC ending. While the universe you leave behind can be DRAMATICALLY different based on your actions, the actual choices you get don't really change from person to person.
- Before the Extended Cut came out, all three endings were identical in every single way except the color of the explosion and very little was explained about what the hell just happened which caused a gigantic uproar. We weren't told if anyone survived, we assumed the Relays went supernova and wiped out most of the known galaxy, and we weren't shown anything about the universe went on after us. Because of this, closure was effectively non-existent which is one of the worst things you can possibly do for a narrative.
I played Leviathan, and had Extended Cut. I can see why people would be disappointed and angry without those though.
Did anyone manage to do that Platinum challenge in the end? I attempted it with a few friends and we were overwhelmingly unprepared.
Did it 8 times, 32 matches.
I let Allers on the ship just so I could tell her to leave.

That's the same version I have. And looking back, I've had mine for about three years as well. Pretty cool.
i can't decide if i should play my femshep as massive dick or paragon of righteousness
[editline]15th March 2013[/editline]
the entertaining option is usually gigantic asshole to everyone except the bros in the squad, which confuses everyone
Jennifer Hale always make the character sound like a renegade anyway.

What was her purpose, beside making sure IGN rates ME3 in the higher ranges?
Again, I said it before and I will say it again, you should have been able to allow Emily Wong to join the Normandy as the reporter.
Too bad they killed her off in twitter. They didn't even allow us to meet her on the Citadel.

BUT YOU GET WAR ASSET POINTS!!
She is so vital to the war effort!

Smashing fanart; all he needs to do is something with his hands.

Ah see, you're the lucky one then. The ending still has plenty of problems but I'd imagine those two DLCs would do a lot to improve it, especially on your first time through.

"And they're not Reapers! They're Dugongs!"
"Ah yes 'Dugongs'; the immortal race of sea-dwelling mammals, allegedly mistaken for mermaids. We have dismissed that claim Nigel"
And then he went to the store.

I find playing as renegade extremely painful and horrible, i guess this just means i'm a good person or something.

Playing pure paragon, you just feel a bit too naive to how the galaxy works and expect the best out of people. Either that, or you ruin certain missions because your conscience gets the better of you.
Pure renegade, you are an uncaring douche that doesn't seem to consider the negative connotations of his actions, even after its too late. It's not even about 'not playing by the rules', its 'kill everything that doesn't agree with my narrow-minded view'.
Pure renegade changes per game tbh. In ME1 if you went pure Renegade you basically stooped to Saren's level to stop him, in ME2 you were almost kinda charming in a weird way with how much of a dick you were, and in ME3 you're a sociopath who's willing to shoot his friends and unarmed civilians in the name of ending a conflict he probably can't. I actually prefer pure renegade runs of ME1 and 2, 3...the thought of doing a pure renegade run of 3 brings tears to my eyes.

ME3 is built around those moments though, because the rest of it isn't what Mass Effect is.
