They're both awful but Kaiden isn't a nazi.
I say they're both awful but Kaiden's less stupid. Because it's quite clear that Ashley's close-mindedness comes from, well... her redneck-level of obscenely stupid altitude. Also. Fuck batarians.
Ah shit, I really want to play the DLC again, but all my saves are either AFTER the DLC becomes locked, or at the very start of the game. Shit
Don't you go back to [sp]just before the Cerberus invasion[/sp] once you complete the game or do I forget
They're both awful but Kaiden isn't a nazi.
I saved Ashley in my renegade save purely to remind her that she's an arrogant, narrow-minded little shit and I'm the sole reason that she's still wasting oxygen so she needs to shut the fuck up and follow my orders.

I really loved the way Garrus and Zaeed acted during the party, constantly thinking if crazy ways to rig up the place with deathtraps. Those two were made for each other.
I got in one of the elevators in Peak 15 and it didn't go anywhere. Now I can't move. I don't remember me1 being this buggy.

Are the convos different based on what you tell Glyph to do at the party?

The more mellow party results in people being more introspective and it's a whole new set of conversations that everyone has. Also, Javik gets completely smashed.

Just finished the Citadel DLC. Was talking to my friend, and when I said "I... don't feel angry any more" he refused to believe me. I've been talking to him about Mass Effect since the catosprahphe that was ME3, and a few months ago he started playing it. He beta ME1/2 as paragoin femshep and ended up romancing Garrus without any intervention from me, which was hilarious, and he's in the process of playing ME3. He refused to believe that my hate for ME3 had subsided. A year of bitching about it, and him worrying about finishing it in case he ended up hating it as much as I did, and it's finally over. Before the party, I grabbed a drink, sat down and it felt like a burning coiled knot in my chest had just melted away. It's a strange feeling, suddenly being devoid of hate and having it replaced by >feels (thanks Garrus dance scene. Fuck.) Having just thrown the party, finished up, checked up on everyone and feeling sad when it said "Return to the Normandy," only to have that one final scene where Shepard admits that it'll be their last party, and Garrus encouraging her that they'll get through this, was heart warming. But now it's dawning on me, for the final time, that this is the last we're going to see of Shepard and probably the rest of the crew. The loved 5-year-long-friends crew (apart from Jacob.) That was a wonderful piece of DLC. I've lost the will to finish the game now, with Priority: Thessia sitting there. It's not going to get any better. I've had the cockles of my heart warmed by some quality writing (for the most part) and have had several shit eating grin moments. Oh, and Garrus. Lots of Garrus. I am sad now. The kind of sad that I should have felt at the end of ME3 originally. Joy and sorrow mixed up in a ball of DLC. So sad. This is my true ending. I am sated.
It's too bad the "man, I'm gonna miss this trilogy" had to come from DLC a year after launch though.
Yeah, I can confidently say that this DLC has rekindled my love of the trilogy. Can't wait to experience all three games, now that they're complete.
hear hear. i'm doing a femshep liara playthrough, starting with ME1
Fuck it, I quite liked Jacob in this DLC.
[sp]So did I. But don't tell anyone that.[/sp]
Fuck it, I quite liked Jacob in this DLC.
[sp]You couldn't have let me win? Just this once? Ah well, lunch is on me.[/sp] I actually felt a twinge of guilt after that. Never got the dislike for Jacob; his biggest fault is being a normal, mostly well-adjusted human being.
I felt bad after hearing about FemShep players and the Jacob debacle, but I'll admit I laughed too.
The adventures of bug-eyed Shepard continues as curing the genophage becomes a real eye opener for him. Either that or the side effects are horrible.
That's it I'm fucking done this playthrough is goddamn cursed what is this shit. Whew, have to say the Extended Cut DLC made the ending a lot better for me. [sp]Chose the Destroy ending as I did earlier, but knowing that the relays were only severely damaged - not completely destroyed - and that they could be repaired, and that everything could be rebuilt, made it all a lot better for me. Especially seeing the crash-landed Normandy be repaired and take off helped a lot. Gave me hope that Liara and Shep could get together again (Shepard survived in my playthrough). That's all I wanted for an ending: Reapers destroyed, Shepard and Liara together.[/sp]
Wow, it's like the price of a new game to get Levithian, Omega and Citadel.. about £25. Probably will pass on Omega and spend the money on Citadel due to it's feedback. Not sure whether to spend £6 more on Levithian, is that worth it? EDIT: Okay bought Citadel only.
I gods why can't I stop crying D:
This one is sadder.
Citadel Spoilers: [sp]The datapad next to your bed the next morning from Mordin made me happy and sad. Also I was kind surprised Dr. Chakwas wasn't there. I forget who mentioned they couldn't come but it was kind of sad. We could have had some Serrice Ice Brandy.[/sp]
Uhhh. By the way...where was Chakwas? Bitch owes me a drink.
From now on, this is my ending to mass effect. No star child, no bullshit choices, just the party, then going out and beating the reapers.
WHY BIOWARE, WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PUT IT RIGHT IN THE FEELS. I hate how you ended the trilogy, but I don't wish to start a hate war again, the extended cut dlc kind of patched it up to be tolerable but... no more shepard and his friends make me sad. and as Irespawnoften mentioned, THIS is a better ending. I'll keep you in my sweets memories Normandy crew. I miss mordin I miss most of them to be honest. [sp]Grunt refusing people at the door made me laugh really bad[/sp]
I love walking around the strip and finding characters from the multiplayer and listening to their hilarious dialogue.
I'm gonna miss this game, wish there was more. [sp]Tali's romance in the DLC was kinda funny. Still love her, though.[/sp]
