Iron doors, Switches, Pressure pads, Power sources, wires.
I just thought of something. What if in multiplayer infdev you had a base (lets say underground), where the walls are made of obsidian, but another material covers the obsidian. And that way, you can set TNT traps to get people who come into your base without ruining the foundation.
Or, narrow obsidian fortified corridors to allow for explosive traps.
Also, if notch makes it so doors block/allow the flow of water/lava, you could easily make flooding and collapsing hallways.

I like the color of them. I don't think there are any red blocks other than the TNT and that cloth one in creative, am I right?
Also, I remember like nearly a year ago Notch was talking about something then mentioned blood and that it would definitely be in Minecraft. That would be awesome :dance:

If you put some in a row, each one outputting to the next, and have a constant ticker as the input to the first, you have a binary counter. Hook it up to a 7 seg display and it will count from 0 to (2 ^ (number of flipflops)) - 1
