0 would be a switch turned off or a pressure plate with nothing pressing it.

Don't use brighten, it just washes it out and makes it an eyesore. If you're in photoshop, use the curves tool (CTRL+M). Turn night into day like a forensic scientist! :science:

Guy's, I just put hours into a game and I fell and died, will body armor help me to not die if I fall off a really big cliff?

it will soften the amount of health you lose by transfering some damage to the armor but it won't make you invincible, if you can find your way back to where you died your stuff should still be there on the floor and you can pick it all back up.

That map is really confusing, but I like your idea with the power and citadel. The police and government can stay in the citadel, and the normal citizens can stay in apartments and houses.
