Fuck is ther a way to install patch 1.2 without having to reinstall crysis ?
Now I'm gonna have to run out and buy crysis :sigh:
Recently it's happened on every game I've tried... I even fell through the level itself on the Egyptian map.
Reinstall
Reinstall
It's not an installation bug, the fact is that the collision model isn't being noticed by crysis properly, so due to the collision model's detail, Crysis dumps them all to concentrate on graphics. This means that those with very powerful systems only rarely experience this bug. This is all to do with netcode, which should be fixed in the warhead version.

We need to get a good facepunch server going, i want a nice tactical game with this :/
Hey I'm running Win7 and I installed the hotfix and stuff but it still crashses whenever I try to connect to any server or even make a local one.

they really need to tweak the sounds (too many sound effects at once=no sound effects at all) but other than that this game is really stellar.
So how does the entire buying a mech thing work? How do you earn the money/points to get a mech.
So how does the entire buying a mech thing work? How do you earn the money/points to get a mech.
Kill shit, gain rank, more points on spawn to buy mechs.
Clear your shader cache. It's been described how to do this many times in this thread even on this page.
just cleared my cahce, lets me connect to servers but not load games. dont know what to do.
So how does the entire buying a mech thing work? How do you earn the money/points to get a mech.
Buy a Partisan Prime (SRM Hovercraft). Go out and shoot stuff. Get promoted. Die. Buy a mech.
Buy manpack PPC Go out and shoot cockpits Get promoted(x2) die. Buy Hollander with hgauss Rape EVERYTHING die. Buy shadowcat A rape EVERYTHING AND THEIR DOGS die Buy Madcat die buy madcat B Dominate everything Fall into lava pit die Buy Mauler kill stuff die Buy madcat MKII fuck shit up.
So how does the entire buying a mech thing work? Doing enough damage ranks you up, which increases your spawn C-bills, so you can buy bigger mechs, tanks, and aerospace fighters.
So looking around i'm not too sure about the gameplay behind the mod. SO i get the fact that it's mechwarrior (which was grounds enough for me to buy crysis and face secushit) And you go around blasting shit with mechs. Which in itself is fun but are there any objectives to this? I mean is it some kind of gamemode based objective. I.E fuck up the enemies main reactor core (or similar objective). And for some reason while writing this the words "Dynamic Environment" popped into my head for no apparent reason.I had this image of a large scale battle going on between the two factions and a nearby volcano erupting and showering the nearby area with hot magma. Pushing the mechs core temperature to higher that normal making it easier for them to overheat. And rain/snow having the converse effect.
Just deathmatch is currently operational. On some space map during the day it's fucking hot, fluids start to boil and such. During the night it gets friggin cold, fluids freeze and such.
Objective based game modes are going to be a post-beta thing so for the moment it's just Solaris Arena (TDM). The good news is that SA with MWLL isn't your grandma's quake-3 TDM, the combat itself is pretty layered (so I think atleast).
We need to get a good game running :/
I would love to play if I could get it running. Crashes everytime I try to login online start a lan game or even change a setting.
Everyone who hasn't voted yet, please vote if you can, it only takes a minute to register on ModDB and I'm sure the team would really appreciate your vote.
I don't think you have to even register. I didn't(that I know of) And I still voted. [editline]04:18PM[/editline] Also some of the animations on the mechs need to be improved imo. more shifting of weight is needed for it to look better. Anyone knwo any good videos out yet. Also: can't wait till a machinima comes out for this.
Is there a way to play this without starting up Crysis and loading the mod up every time?
There's a launcher inside the mod folder you should use.

If you stop and fire you can find your shots hit the wrong spot due to the sudden stop. In midair if you fire your shots tend to have a higher chance of missing.
it's lots of fun, it feels very highly unpolished, yet, still fun at the same time, meaning it can only get better!
Okay, just installed Crysis again to try this out, can I get a config installed, or should I leave it at vanilla?
What I like is the unforgiving learning curve. Handling the different types of vehicles can be challenging. I'm trying my hand at aeros at the moment, with little success. It's still loads of fun.
Whelp, I found the problem. As soon as I try to run the Launcher for this, Crysis refuses to run. Not even going to bother.
Ha, finally got it working, for the most part. I hope they include mech customization in later stages, I can't stand the weapons that have ammo. I want a crazy fuck stupid amount of lazors and heat sinks.
Working!
