What's the error?
I just tried it. awesome mod but I'm going to have to spend some time getting use to the handling of these machines. Anyone know where the forums are for the keyboard layout?
Check the forums at http://www.mechlivinglegends.net in the general disscussion, should be a sticky [editline]12:57AM[/editline]
I personally liked Mech Assault, it wasn't as good as MechWarrior but it was a good bit of fun mindless action with good graphics (for back then, at least). How do you steal enemy mechs? When an enemy elemental jumped out (or bailed, I dunno) of a mech, it slumped down but remained standing. I tried getting in it, but it said "Vehicle is locked" :saddowns:
To steal a mech the other player has to of ejected from it. Ejection happens if the mech is powered up and you bail. This blows open the cockpit (meaning the head component is dead) and leaves the mech powered up standing still. You can then enter the mech yourself. If a player powered down first then jumped out, it won't work. Also note that if the head component is dead (as is what happens when someone ejects), then all weapons can deal direct damage to you (the pilot) inside.
What's the error?
When logging in - "Error, Check username and password" When creating an account - "Error creating account" When clicking Forgot password - "An email containing your password has not been sent to you" I should clarify that this is for both Crysis and Living Legends.
Check the forums at http://www.mechlivinglegends.net in the general disscussion, should be a sticky.
Yea... I can't find it.
Oh man I'm glad I found the S_maxchannels command from you guys, no more crashes! AND I can hear my gunshots!
Do Mechs go into Meltdown? Pleeeaaaase tell me they go into meltdown.
Do Mechs go into Meltdown? Pleeeaaaase tell me they go into meltdown.
Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, usually people just bail before they die and leave the empty mech just standing there anyways.
Do Mechs go into Meltdown? Pleeeaaaase tell me they go into meltdown.
Mechs go nuclear when they're overheating and get destroyed. It happens a lot on the mechs with PPCs and weapons that generate heat.
Ahaha, flamers are fucking incredible. I was piloting a Mad Cat with 2 LBXs, 2 SRMs, and 2 flamers on that one lava map. I'd hold down the flamers while running at enemies, to screw with their aiming, then open up on them with the SRMs and LBX cannons. I found an Awesome attacking a pair of friendly Elementals, so I ran in towards him and began to flame him and launch missiles. Right before he was about to blow up, he bailed... right into my flamers, and he died instantly.
When Mechs go critical, it does for more damage in a larger radius than any previous Mechwarrior game, it's awesome. Make sure you get clear when you see a mech glowing. I once was in an atlas, had a heavy brawl with a Mad Cat Mk II but managed to kill it, I saw it topple over and start glowing "Oh fuck" I thought "I've seen a Mech do that before!" I managed to eject just in time and activated my BA's jump jets as I looked down at a massive explosion beneath me, I landed safely in my Battle Armour, was amazing.

It was a beautiful sight, and it killed at least one other mech and pilot. :v:
I have it on max settings and I thought it looked ok until I got into a firefight. Then it was really awesome. [editline]10:42PM[/editline] Everyone was mad at me because I didn't know how to turn on my mech :( [editline]10:42PM[/editline] It's P
Ok, now it crashes everytime I login to play multiplayer.
Yea... I can't find it.
Oops my bad the guy who had the image posted got it removed for bandwidth exceeding. Turns out we have the same image on the front page news post :P [editline]04:23AM[/editline]
Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, usually people just bail before they die and leave the empty mech just standing there anyways.
Shoot the mechs anwyays. You get a large amount of money from destroying a mech/vehicle, even if there is no pilot in it. Killing BA/pilots though is still a good way to rake in points though.
Well, I may not be able to actually play this online... but at least I can walk around in singleplayer as an elemental with a silenced pistol, using my jump jets to fly around the island. Damn Gamespy, I thought it died out years ago!
Here is the fix: Make a new partition (unless you already have a non-NTFS ready.) Move "My Documents" to ANY partition other than NTFS. This allows the game to change and access it without crashing. After doing this I was able to edit all settings, enter servers, and play. Thanks to Irami from the forums at MWLL.
Uh, I wouldn't make a new partition to play this. But in any case, I did end up "fixing" it. Such an awesome mod. The only thing that breaks the immersion right now for me is all the sound glitches. Everything else is going great and I haven't crashed in 5 hours of play.
Just move My Documents folder to a non-NTFS part. It works fine for me atm. I just moved it to my External hdd

Anyone know what action maps are?

I still crash between 10-20 mins.
I never had a problem with crashing. I am using s_maxchannels 128 though, if you aren't already. My problem was with logging in with my gamespy account.
I still occasionally crash with the s_maxchannels 128 command, but not nearly as much as I did before.
I can never see anything between 20 and 32 players. I'm picky, I want 24 damnit! or 26!
Incredebly awesome, played for 5 hours straight with no crashing. Then I finally crashed. Needs a way to credit teamwork, and to help late joiners back on track. It's impossible if you join midround and you have to start dodging madcats.
I assume this is for Crysis and not Warhead? Otherwise I will be a sad boy.
Crysis now, warhead later. Should we do a FP gaming night on this thing?
Holy tits, I forgot this was coming out. I was really looking forward to it when I saw the really early teasers for it ages ago. Definitely need to reinstall Crysis and play this son of a bitch.
Crysis now, warhead later. Should we do a FP gaming night on this thing?
Yes, with teamwork and all! :O
Wow, this is badass. Played a few rounds, the maps looks wonderful and so do the mechs/vehicles. Huge bug where I keep falling/passing through the floors and walls of the main hangar and other buildings, but other than that no really big bugs to be found for me. No crashing, some lag, but bearable. Great fun!
