The game's definitely fun, I prefer it to GTA4 by leaps and bounds, but it's largely inferior to Saints Row 2. Saints Row 2 is 20$, and is by far the best in the series. This one tries much to hard to be wacky and over the top, and as a result isn't as fun. It also has zero difficulty curve, and no pacing. You live in a penthouse mansion from the third mission, and have access to Reaper drones by the second. It's still fun, and if you've never played SR2 you'll love it. If you've played SR2, you'll find it lacking.
Ive played Saints Row 2 I think I'll be buying SR3 since I've beaten SR2 already it looks really fun
Saints Row the Third is the first and only game I've played of the series. If I go play Saints Row Two after playing this one, will I be let down or surprised?
Graphics and Physics, let down, customization, surprised.

The game world is not as interesting, the story is shorter and not as good, there's not as much customization, and the side activities aren't as fun either,
Is there a way to get Burt Reynolds if you didnt choose him in the mission? I chose the zombie horde and i really regret it.
anyone?
anyone?
Have a friend who has it join you and use it.
Kinda like Vehicle Theft, the one for the N-Forcer, if you've completed the game, either have a friend who hasn't completed the game get you one, or use one you probably have in your garage, i lost mine due to this.
If anyone here wants to share burt reynolds PM me.
Dont worry, got him from a friend

You serious? The city in SR2 was one of the most dull environments I've seen in a video game. Everything looked really ugly, all peds felt like robots and there was barely anything ever happening in the world.

In SR2 Volition just made this game as "GTA clone but not really. Why? Search for yourself". What I mean is that after searching Stilwater, looking for details and not trying to see just a GTA clone in it, you understand that SR2 is so fucking hilarious, which is the point of all Saints Row's. You just have to look. In SRTT Volition just haven't covered the main feature, and it was revamped a lot also. I think it's because at first Volition didn't want to make fun stuff as main feature of Saints Row and just make it another GTA clone. But they tried to put more fun stuff in SR2 and it was pretty much successful. So in SRTT we now have a TON of fun, which is now the feature of Saints Row. And it was again successful, as you know. There can be no talk about what will SR4 be. Definitely crazy-ass funny game.
I like SR3, but I hope it's to Saints Row 4 as Saints Row 1 was to Saints Row 2. If that makes sense.
I like SR3, but I hope it's to Saints Row 4 as Saints Row 1 was to Saints Row 2. If that makes sense.
They were using a whole new enging for SR3, so that's quite a bit more likely than you may think.
They were using a whole new enging for SR3, so that's quite a bit more likely than you may think.
Yeah, that, plus a lot of Volition employees that worked on SR2 got laid off for some reason, and didn't work on SR3. Hopefully the success of SR3 will net them some more workers, maybe give them some more time to work on it too.
Wasn't it said before that most of the team was already working on SR4? The cause of most of the rushed work in SR3.
GTA 4 was fun, it was way to srs bsns though, a little seriousness is good but they didn't balance out the funny silly stuff with the serious drama stuff. Saints Row 2 is a perfect example of drama and comedy mixed together, you can around as a hotdog shooting shit from a septic tank at one moment or you can sit in total awe as Gat kicks the shit out of somebody in a cemetery for the vengeance of his wife. Also Carlos death was pretty fucking dark too.
GTA is a serious series. Saints Row isn't. I don't know why people keep trying to compare them.
I don't know how GTA and SR keep getting pushed next to each other and compared but somehow they are alike. FREE ROAM CRIME GAME! GTA CLONE!
I was looking through the Saints Row official forum and why is it that the official forums for games are always filled with a sea of retards with maybe a few well spoken people in it . It irritates me because this is probably the community the developers listen to .
GTA is a serious series. Saints Row isn't. I don't know why people keep trying to compare them.
Though that's not to say R* don't make funny games. It's just there's a difference between SR and GTA that's basically the same as the difference between, say, The Colbert Report and Father Ted. They just aren't worth comparing because they're both great at what they do.
My friend has the best sr3 character We also found Genki and murdered him
GTA is a serious series. Saints Row isn't. I don't know why people keep trying to compare them.
GTA was only serious starting with IV, and considering San Andreas alone nearly ties it for total sales, it's to be expected that several people still associate the series with aliens, jetpacks, cultists, gimp suits, and smacking people with dildos.
Wasn't it said before that most of the team was already working on SR4? The cause of most of the rushed work in SR3.
I thought it was that they were already, after launch, working on making 4, not making 4 during 3.
Saints row has aliens, gimps and dildo smacking, they take it to the near extreme too. Still waiting on a jetpack though.
Got Saints Row 3 on Onlive for that 1 pound a game thing, but the graphics are pathetically bad due too the cloud gaming thing, so anywhere i can get a REAL SR3 for cheap?

So anybody that likes the music in Let's Pretend, and buys music (hahahahaha), here's a link to an album on itunes that has most (all?) of the songs on it: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/bootleg-beats/id387708341
Has anyone else come across the bug where you don't get the "Opulence You Has It" achievement even when you've beaten "Party Time!"?
I think it would be awesome if somebody here will make GTA V trailer remake in SRTT.
Not related in any way whatsoever, but Why does your character have HUGE irises?
Late because I was hit with image macro (Page 32 or something in screenshots thread) I forgot to set that. I re-made my character. (Still looks almost the same)
