Well, now instead of switching languages, SR2 keeps all the text in English, but the subtitles fly at high speed. The game is still freaking good, though.

It's a side effect of using Powertools. The subtitles disappearing faster gets progressively worse the more you have to adjust your timescale to compensate for the speedup. Your cpu must have needed an extreme percentage for it to be a severe problem like that. Most people have reported that it's only slightly noticeable, if at all.
