Its upcoming DLC, everybody will get it...
Everybody with $3. :v:
I'm so getting my Jason Voorhees suit back, I've tasted all the DLC and I'm gonna get all of them back. Genki girls vehicles and the 2 horror costume packs I had were the best. The angry tiger Kaneda with mounted flamethrowers was just boss as fuck, its has to be the fastest bike in the game.

Saints Row: Enter the Dominatrix 'announced'. The real world is a lie… For centuries, alien warlord Zinyak and his malevolent race (to be named later) have eyed Earth and its precious natural resources and females with a watchful eye. As he prepares an armada for invasion, he has only one worry: the Third Street Saints. Once a simple street gang from Stilwater, the Saints have evolved into a global empire, replete with bombastic TV advertising and tasteful consumer products, the kind of TV advertising and consumer products that would give any alien warlord pause. Clearly, the Saints are the biggest badasses on Earth. Now, in order to prepare his forces for domination, Zinyak captures the leader of the Saints and imprisons him in an elaborate virtual reality simulation. This simulation program looks and feels like Steelport, but it is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. Here, you are a slave. Welcome… to the Dominatrix. Inside the Dominatrix, Zinyak trains legions of his forces, including a giant mutated can of Saints Flow energy drink named Paul, to complete his nefarious mission – defeat the Saints, conquer Earth, love our women. But as in the real world, there are rules inside the Dominatrix. Some can be bent; others, broken… THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) and Volition, Inc. are proud to announce the development of Saints Row®: The Third – Enter The Dominatrix, the groundbreaking standalone expansion to Saints Row: The Third. Features of Enter The Dominatrix include: - The Dominatrix Has You: And it feels so good. Bend the Dominatrix to your will and harness an arsenal of super powers including Mind-Bending Telekinesis, Really Really High Jump, Really Really Fast Sprint, Shiny Blue Force Shield, and Shiny Blue Fireball Projectile-of-Doom. - Wondrous Alien Technology: Use Dominatrix weapons as your own, such as the Floppy Alien Tentacle Bat, the Fire-In-The-Sky Alien Abduction Ray, and the sphincter-stretching Alien Anal Probe, as well as a touch-screen telephonic device with email and map functionality. Reach out and f$%# someone. - Go Three Levels Deep: Enter the Dominatrix within the Dominatrix within the Dominatrix to recruit former Saints from the depths of your own memory to fight Zinyak. It’s all science, with just a little fiction. Will you defeat Zinyak and his invasion armada? Will you escape from virtual reality to rule Steelport once more? Will any of this make any sense? The answers you seek can only be found inside the Dominatrix. So enter it. April Fools etc. EDIT: Ninja'd while formatting. Damnit!
Although with Saints Row, how could you really tell? [editline] . [/editline] broke my automerge
Does look like April Fools.
That looks like an awesome dlc I want it to be true
The fact that it's listed as a standalone expansion instead of DLC should be the big tip off. You know, besides the whole April Fools shenanigans.
The fact that it's listed as a standalone expansion instead of DLC should be the big tip off. You know, besides the whole April Fools shenanigans.
Wait it says that its standalone? Damn it
But it has the superpowers again, god I fucking hate April Fools so much, just developers announcing brilliant ideas that people would pay for then spitting in their face. Such a stupid day.
Damnit it looks badass they should make it for real :( Also what mods should I install apart from Gentlemen of Steelport(I didn't install it but I have a few mods that may conflict with it because they do the same thing)?

The whole purpose of GoS is to make sure that everything is compatible with each other and plays nice in one package.
Would they really go through all the effort of modeling all the stuff in that picture just to make a joke on april fools? There's a new skybox and everything.
GoS has all the best mods anyways Speaking of GoS, Idol how often are you going to update gos with new mods? I would really love to see those two in it
Would they really go through all the effort of modeling all the stuff in that picture just to make a joke on april fools? There's a new skybox and everything.
Probably? If they do release this DLC and it is like they said(not fake), then maybe it will be awesome. But, remember, it is near April 1, or in other places, already April 1.
Yeah, and that fucking sucks because all the features mentioned in that post look AMAZING Super powers and something they call the "sphincter-stretching Alien Anal Probe" COME THE HELL ON VIOLITION DO THIS That saints flow can reskin looks awesome too.

For one, I created a script that does a search and replace inside files so it will now be super easy to combine all sorts of different mods together that couldn't be done before. This is especially handy for weapon mods and combining things, for example weapon rebalance with the cybercannon laser and 3 shot explosive gravedigger, and all the tweak_table physics and settings mods. We also have an alpha trainer working that lets you do all sorts of crazy cool shit in realtime; swap zones, teleport to different places like cribs or your partners location, raise bridges up and down, turn arapice zombies on and off, attach ambient radio stations to your character that follow you around so you can listen to music on foot, drug effects including staggering and 40oz props, cutscene replay, and toggling super powers on and off. All of it happens in realtime with keyboard shortcuts similar to the GTAIV simple trainer. There is still a ton of work and testing to do on it, but I seriously can't wait until we release it publicly for everyone to check out. It's like playing a whole new game. Both of those mods you mentioned and a ton more will be in the next release. I'd say it should be ready in about 1-2 weeks depending on how quickly I can do the script conversions. That's not a promise though and is all pending on real life shit that tends to get in the way at times.
Have you got the FX on the super powers? Also is it possible to make a mod that allows you to spawn vehicles on the spot, sorta like the GTA IV trainer too. Also a better ragdoll mode the current cheat for ragdolling yourself doesn't work when jumping off buildings, you get back up in mid air.

Haven't looked at any ragdoll stuff yet.
We're already working on the first two. Haven't looked at any ragdoll stuff yet.
I was just wondering because the ragdoll cheat isn't very fun to skydive off buldings if you do the normal dive after 3 seconds of freefall. Nothing to urgent, don't even worry about it. What happened to the project of trying to get brute strength by the way? So you can pick up and throw stuff again, or people.
attach ambient radio stations to your character that follow you around so you can listen to music on foot
Oh good god yes

The brute animations are pretty weird. Actually, all animations are. Any changes to the anim table files don't seem to do much of anything. It's probably something that was converted into some binary file somewhere or hardcoded in the exe. We may be able to change them on the fly though with the new trainer though; providing that we can figure out how the animation related functions actually work.
Has anyone found the mission music for "the Belgian problem" yet? I'm still looking for it... If someone could extract it from the game or something?
Would they really go through all the effort of modeling all the stuff in that picture just to make a joke on april fools? But, it sounds really sweet, so I hope it's not fake, although it all likelihood it is.

It seems just a little too fleshed out for a prank. [editline]1st April 2012[/editline] For what it's worth, the article on saintsrow.com was posted on March 31st at 11:58 PM.
You remember that this time last year, Saints Row The Third was announced with a guy getting his nuts slapped. People thought that was a joke, when it actually wasn't. I for one, think that this DLC is real.
I'm not sure I'm liking the way they're going with DLC in SR3. What I liked about SR2 is that it was nuts, but it wasn't "alien warlord" nuts. Limos full of mimes, gunships, etc. The most outlandish shit was the Red Faction stuff. I liked that, it was crazy, but it wasn't completely batshit. They completely ditched all of the story behind SR1 and SR2. What the fuck happened? What about Dex? What about Stilwater? What the hell Volition?

I really don't want this to be part of the bullshit that is april fools
