I would bound into work on my first day with super energy and a million things to fix and be told that it's not in the budget to correct/patch issues. Then I would get stuck in the basement and assigned to churn out crappy overpriced DLC that nobody fucking wants. It would likely break my spirit within the first 24 hours.
By being person who plays the darn game you would come up with a lot better DLC ideas.
Minimole its been like 2 months, put some fucking pants on.
No kidding.
There's even slutty pants, so you have no excuse.
So is the Maximum Pleasure Pack worth its price tag? Apart from the Invincible pack, it seems tempting.
Not really, but since at the moment both the Funtime pack and the Shark Attack pack are $2.99 and $1.99, you might as well spend the extra couple dollars and buy the complete back, even though the invincibility pack basically just unlocks cheat codes that are already in the game, and moneyshot pack is just a bunch of reskins.
I would recommend waiting for the summer sale and buying them for a fraction of the cost.
To be fair, it's a nice bunch of reskins. And the catsuit rules.
Ain't worth $2, but I'm not particularly upset that I got it.
The TOGO-13 is worth it.
It's a full-auto 100% accurate sniper rifle!

It also takes down those smug Morningstar specialist pricks like a charm
I can't wait for this mod to be released, I really like watching npcs fight each other. http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/fixing-the-coward-civilians.686/

You'll be happy to know that Shitface talked to me and I gave him all the info I had so he could build his own version of it. It's already released as the "npc behavior and spawn mod" and is one of my favorite SRTT mods so far:

Are the cheats from the invincible pack able to be turned on and off? I don't quite want to start with all those stats immediately when I start a game.
Are the cheats from the invincible pack able to be turned on and off? I don't quite want to start with all those stats immediately when I start a game.
They are cheats. That means they are added to your phone so you can enable/toggle them manually like any other cheat. They aren't upgrades or unlockables that unlock automatically like, say, the Dracula pack.
I just beat the game and got [sp]the Mars ending.[/sp] Holy shit I died laughing at how ridiculous it was
Nothing like having your screen fade to red as you die and seeing a random bystander spazz out in the background because his legs are stuck in a flower planter.
Or being naked big guy with heavy face while being dead and inside floor and jiggling around while coop partner is far far away.
He looks so happy.

Morningstar specialists also go down rather easily to a plain level 4 handgun. It's a cool rifle but really, paying money for what the AR-55 should have been to begin with still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
But, cool skins. I like my sniper rifles glowing orange and spinning.
I think that they should decrease DLC prices and/or add weekly/monthly challenges, like for example Top 3 players who get most points on certain minigame gets a dlc for a prize.

welcome to team fortress 2
Handgun Fun is the best weapon mod I have yet seen
Dual wielding stun guns, and making D4eath blossom shoot electrically charged bullets is amazingly fun
Anyone know if an attempt has been made to restore the 'Powder' stronghold? My understanding is that it's all fully coded, just dummied-out?
I never knew you could go in the Power building after the mission
Just bust open the doors with a sonic boom.
Can you still go into the Casino interior if the place has been upgraded to full?
I can't seem to.

Gonna have to try that.
Gonna have to try that.
You can slam open doors on the first plane mission too, see the cockpit
Gonna need the cheat for the boom though.
You can also get into the parking garage from 'The Belgian Problem' by parking the Man Canon right beside the door then pointing it through.

New THQ President doesn’t like Saints Row
“It’s about half way through our interview, one in which Rubin talks bluntly about past mistakes of THQ, of the problems he foresees for the company, of the challenges he and THQ face, that I broach the subject of Saints Row the Third.
I haven’t played the game, I confess to Rubin, because I wouldn’t want to be caught playing it by my wife or my son. It would be embarrassing.
While most reviews for the game were positive, Edge Magazine seems to have felt the same way when they gave the game a relatively low score in their review, calling the title a “fratboyish endorsement of crime and female degradation, devoid of any conscience or commentary.”
Saints Row the Third isn’t a bad game, but it’s not the sort I’d want to play, I tell Rubin. Then I ask him if he thinks that’s an issue.
“That’s why I am here,” he said, after saying he wants more from Volition, “because of what you just said.”
To be clear, Rubin isn’t saying there isn’t any room in his company “for a game that features a purple dildo,” in fact he points out there are now two such games (the other is South Park: The Stick of Truth). But that sensibility isn’t always a good fit for a studio.
“It works for South Park, but I’m not sure it does elsewhere,” he said. “I don’t think (Volition) chose to do what they did because they had all of the options available to them. It was the environment at the time.
“I know I can change that.”
Hopefully this means SR4 won't be so 'lol wacky', and focus more on the story.

From the tone, it sounds more like he's planning on killing the series.
I never knew you could go in the Power building after the mission

Wait which building is that?
I wouldnt mind less wacky and more story,.but killing off the series that literally saved THQ is pretty fucking stupid.
Wait which building is that?
And it doesn't seem like he wants to kill the series:
Ed's note: To be clear, Rubin isn't saying that he's embarrassed of the game or that he's not a fan of Saints Row or proud of Volition. What he's saying is that he hopes that despite my feelings, that the team can impress me in the future. I followed up with Rubin after this interview ran and he reiterated that, adding that he both loved Saints Row the Third and that he thinks the team is capable of more.
http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2012/6/8/3071167/thq-e3-2012-jason-rubin
I like SRTT. It's like, I dunno, what GTA forgot to be: Entertainingly stupid, destructive, respectless, cheesy, fun as shit. Although, I'm not even near the end of the story I think and I already feel a bit too powerful. What's the point of shooting up the other gangs if I own the city already?
While most reviews for the game were positive, Edge Magazine seems to have felt the same way when they gave the game a relatively low score in their review, calling the title a “fratboyish endorsement of crime and female degradation, devoid of any conscience or commentary."
They also complained that it took entire magazines of an SMG to kill a mook, which would seem to imply they fall under that special game reviewer category of "completely incompetent".
Hopefully this means SR4 won't be so 'lol wacky', and focus more on the story.
Well, no, considering
"Why couldn't that be a Red Dead Redemption or a Skyrim?"
and
"I don't think (Volition) chose to do what they did because they had all of the options available to them. It was the environment at the time.

it sounds like he's going to get his executive meddle on and completely fuck up the franchise.

Looks the same way to me as well.
I just chugged through the story again with a friend, and I distinctly recall one lol giant purple dildo joke.
